Para Para is a popular japanese dancing group perform, start in the disco era culminates in the 90s with fusion with Eurodance, Hardcore and Rave hits. It was more popular for everyone to dance together than for each one to do a different dance. An ancient version of TikTok. Performed by two girls called Yukko and Natsu on the Rotterdam Records classic „Feyenoord“ from seminal Hardcore group Rotterdam Termination Source with japanese lyrics.

“ Part of the promotion for Dreamscape Woodstock 2 was hiring out a cow balloon with Woodstock on it. Murray's ideas was to fly the balloon over Battersea power station like the Pink Floyd album cover with the pig, but instead he settled for flying over Fenn farm and Northamptonshire.Another one of Murray's bright idea was to do a flyer drop and drop 100,000 flyers from the balloon at 1000 ft. But he would have had to pay for the clean up bill, so that killed the idea.  After the event was announced he got a phone call from Harvey Goldsmith the legendary concert promoter who did  Live Aid back in the 80's. ARCHIVIO a new serie of publications by @neversleeplife focused on the exploring archiving practices displaying private collections of visual artefacts, memorabilia, collecting garments and graphic curiosities. A memories wunderkammer: from rave-club culture to the youth subcultures. The first issue had been made it during the lockdown collecting and scanning rave records store advertisements, graphics and illustration ephemera find by consulting tons of old techno and rave fanzines from the early 90s from all over the world. A pure, rough and beautiful visual testimony of a unique and unrepeatable historical moment. Gabber Eleganza launches his label Never Sleep with Multo Crudo by London via Brazil & Russia producer Lizzitksy. The label is “an organic step after seeing the original Gabber Eleganza archival project grow into a multi-platform endeavour”, with a remit to showcase new and old artists that symbolise not just rave and post-rave culture, but a wider DIY aesthetic. Lizzitksy’s debut release draws from a disorientating suite of tropes - blasts of harsh noise, hollowed out sub-loaded kick drum barrages, digitised 90’s Italian Trance melodies, sped up reggaeton snare rushes & post-hard core vocal manipulation. Despite the range of elements in play, there is still a clear aesthetic red thread present - the rhythmic building blocks of the various genres referenced are sliced, distorted and re-arranged but never to such an extent that their dance-floor rending capabilities are compromised, whilst occasional flashes of melody and feedback laden shrieks help unravel each track.

The italian obsession for food also manifests itself in the golden age of the italian club culture and in his visual identity. Cena da Gigi, Piada (Piadina) Couture, Colazione da Tiffany, Giammy Spaghetti, and many others are just some examples of iconic nites with gastronomic names along the italian peninsula (mostly based up&down the Riviera Romagnola) and flyers are not just simple rip-off of the iconic food logos, but real food object.
