HARDCORE WARRIORS
“ The clubbing scene in Italy has developed through time with some peculiarities that no other countries in the world has experienced before. For example, the club disco ‘Number One’ was the go-to club within the hardcore music scene, hosting some of the most desired DJs and giving birth to a new subculture group that can be identified under the name of “Hardcore Warriors”.
Proud of being part of the subculture working class group, the Hardcore Warriors present a signature style based on sportswear, with a key note to spotted bright cycling jersey shorts, embellished with logos by local working companies.
The dance routines, instead, are very similar to the Kickboxing or Capoeira’s moves, moving legs back and forth and punching the air. Every move is exaggerated and the dancers will often lean forward with their body, simulating a running in place. There is also a very special aspect that distinguish ‘Number One’ from any other club, and made it famous in the game: “ la Piramide “ (the Pyramid). This refers to a real human pyramid that all dancers would create during the last section of the club night. “
