All of Eleanor’s Gay Moments™ - 4/?
oliviafury:
she wasn’t in a particularly good mood, with a mixture of stupid excuses for visiting her from students, along with the fact she was having a bad hair day, it was all making olivia be a lot more snappy than usual and she wanted to be left alone. though considering she was working, she knew that wasn’t happening for her. she couldn’t help the little growl under her breath as she heard the knock on the door, but almost instantly as she heard gabby speak, she was up out of her chair, moving to the door to help the younger girl. she knew that she had been hurt and was obviously going to assist her. “hi.” liv grinned, holding open the door a little wider before pointing at the free chair. “sure, come in. what do you need?”
olivia fury was definitely scarier than what rumors claimed. she was also a hella lot prettier. and that didn't help gabby find her voice. "i-i need, well, not need because i guess i could do without it, i am doing right now and i deal just fine. or mostly fine. i am gonna leave it at mostly fine. but it would be really nice to have an elevator pass. until my leg is better. the teachers aren't very happy with me being late. i understand. but i would rather be on their good side." the words left her lips in a rapid succession and upon realizing probably most of it was impossible to gather, she took the offered seat and smiled politely. "an elevator pass. i could really use one. i have been informed you are the person to ask?"

In retrospective, carrying two full bags while needing crutches to move wasn't the best of the ideas. But having to make two trips didn't seem very appealing when it took her almost twice as much as it usually took her to make a short walk. So, stubborn and determined as she was, she arranged the bags in a way that allowed movement while been secure and started her way. She didn't get too far as a few steps into the way one of the bags slide from her back to the floor and she was left to find a way to rearrange the whole thing. Sighing, she was about to reach for it when a familiar figure interrupted her. "David, hi. Do you mind...?" she trailed off, shyly, staring at the bag laying on the floor. "If you don't want it's okay. I can totally get it. I definitely could."
@spiinneret
Ruby showing her beautiful face up on the hospital was a surprise. A nice you, mind you. There wasn't much to do when you were bedbound in a hospital and not allowed your laptop. So Gabby had spent her time reading and watching Netflix on her phone. By the second day, she had already finished all her shows. So, Ruby's visit was more than welcomed. It was wanted. Very wanted. "Ruby! What are you doing here?" okay, that was a stupid question. "I am so glad you're here! I'm so, so bored.I was worried you might be hurt too! You aren't, right? Do you want some jelly?" she asked, pointing with her head towards one of the chairs. "I don't really like it."
@pxperxstark
Gabby was an observant girl. She took great pleasure in looking at people, not in a creepy way, more in an admiring way. It was incredible the things you could learn about people if you took time to observe them when they thought no one was watching. When they could afford to be themselves and not put a mask to confront the world. The Stark girl looked sad. And rumors about what had happened to her during the Hulk incident had filled the halls for days. Almost as many days as it had taken Gabby to actually approach her. "I brought you cookies. I made them. They are double chocolate. I don't even know if you like chocolate but most people do and I thought it was the safest way to go but if you don't like them I can give them to someone else." The words left her lips in a rapid succession, no pauses in between to breath, and so by the time she was done she was running out of air. The bag was hanging on one of the ends of her crutches and moving with some difficulty, she managed to grab them and show the bag to the other girl.

Walking on crutches wasn't exactly the easiest thing even less when the school had so many stairs. Why did it have to have so many stairs? Okay, they were a good way to keep in shape but not very thoughtful of people with movement restrictions. Granted, that's why there were elevators. But there were restrictions on the use. That's why she was currently in front of Olivia Fury's office. Someone had commented she should talk to the woman for a special pass until her leg got better. But the woman intimidated Gabby. She was pretty sure Olivia intimidated everyone a bit even if they wouldn't admit it. And so she remained in her spot, hand playing with the hem of her shirt. Finally, gathering courage she knocked on the door. "Miss Fury? Can I come in?"

“And that’s even if you just count the stuff here on Midgard…or, you know, Earth.” JJ chuckled. “I’m surrounded by Asgardians, and sometimes I pick up the verbage. But yeah who knows? Maybe my favorite is on another planet and I don’t know it because I haven’t gotten a chance to try it yet.”
"I know what Midgard is. I have done research." Mythology, in general, fascinated her. Even more, considering most of it was real. "Asgardian beverage? Do you mean Asgardian Mead? I thought mortals couldn't drink it. That's so cool."
sparkyjjlewis:
“I have choosing…I can’t even choose a favorite movie or book or song. There are just way too many things that go into choosing a favorite. Like…my favorite today might not match my mood tomorrow, so how can I say for sure it’s my favorite?”
"Yes!" Gabby agreed effusively. "Why narrow our options to one when there are so many amazing things out there? Besides, I can't say something is my favorite if I haven't tried all the other options first and there are always new things to try."

She nodded in response, sighing at the sight of the rubble around them. “No doctor, give me a few more minutes and it’ll be gone.” The blonde reassured. “I’m a Danvers, I inherited my mom’s healing factor and god knows what else my father would’ve given me. If he was even an inhuman or a mutant or something.” Adore explained. “We need to get you somewhere to have you looked at.” She replied, keeping a firm grip on her friend’s waist. “Do you think Ruby’s alright?” She asked as she helped the other as they walked. She was hoping nobody was severely injured. “I’m sure he’ll help. Mister Parker?” Adore half yelled.
"Oh, wow, really, that's amazing!" Gabby was a bit ashamed to admit that she didn't know much about her friend's powers. She didn't ask and by doing so hoped they wouldn't either. But now seemed like a good time to start. Maybe the distraction would help. "And how does it work? Do you have to think about it or it just happens? Do you have any control over it? How far does it go? Does it regenerate missing limbs?" she paused, a tiny, embarrassed smile on her face. "Ruby is tough. Nothing can hurt her," There was no doubt in her voice because there was no doubt in her mind that Ruby was invincible. Gabby just shrugged and waited to see if they got a response. Maybe he wasn't even there.

“You know what? I really kinda like option number three. Caramel latte now and chocolate milkshake later.” JJ gave a firm nod before placing her order. “Not that I really need too much more energy, but it’s always fun to have a little extra boost.”
"I really like that option best too." Gabby shared even if no one had asked her. "That way you don't really have to choose. Because choosing is the worst."
adoredanvcrs:
“O – Of course it is, I’m being silly.” Adore replied, looking over at her friend. Despite having a healing factor, her wounds didn’t go away as quick or easy as she would have liked them to .“I’ll be fine. Give it a few minutes and it’ll be semi better.” She added, keeping Ruby close. “We have to get you sorted out, though. I hope nobody else is hurt, o-or worse.” The blonde said, feeling a shiver crawl down her spine at the thought. She didn’t think something like this would happen. “I think he went to get something for us to help study. I – I really don’t know. Do you think he’s alright? Shall we call him?”
"You are not! You're never being silly." Gabby reassured, she hated it when people thought their feelings were invalid due to some stupid society rule that had been forced on them as they grew up. "Semi better as in no doctor or semi better as in good enough for us to get you to a doctor as quickly as possible?" She was really hoping it would be the first, even if she would force her to visit the hospital wing anyway. Adore was too good for her own good and Gabby had made it her goal in life to take care of her. "Yes, he might be able to get us out of here or tell someone to get us off here." He had to be okay. He was Peter Parker. Spiderman. His spidey sense must have warned him something was wrong. Although he could have ignored it in favor of saving his daughter. That was something fathers did. Or something Luke would do.
adoredanvcrs:
“I, uh…” She said, looking down at her t-shirt. The feeling of seeing the bloody began to make her feel very sick. “I think it’s mine? I don’t know.” she replied, turning around so she could lift up her t-shirt to check. Her pale skin was now stained with bruising and the crimson blood. “Um, yep. That would be my blood. It’s kind of a numb feeling, now.” The blonde commented, pulling her t-shirt down and turning back around. Adore looked at the other’s legs and she covered her mouth while she silently gasped. “Goodness, Gabby.” She said, wrapping an arm around her waist. “Put your weight on me, we’ve gotta go somewhere safe.” She added. “I have no idea, Mister Parker didn’t say a thing. Oh gosh, I hope he’s okay too. Do we go back for him?”
"You think it's yours? You don't know?" Gabby's voice sounded a little panicked but to be fair no one had taught her what to do when your friend is bleeding in the middle of a demolished building and you have no idea what is going on. Jess would know, a tiny voice in the back of her mind told her. "We need to find something to stop the bleeding." The confidence in her voice shocked even her. She nodded softly at Adore's command, allowing her body to rest on hers. The blonde was right. The class was completely destroyed, there was no way they would be found if they stayed there. And she was pretty sure breathing dust wasn't exactly good for your lungs. "I don't know. Do we even know where he was? Is his office in this building?"
adoredanvcrs:
Today wasn’t meant to turn out like this. Adore was supposed to go to a study session with Gabby and Mr. Parker, and then they’d probably have a girls night with Ruby. Instead, part of the school was demolished due to whatever was going on. The girl’s baby pink t-shirt was now dirtied with bits of dust, dirt and blood, the blood being her own. With every step she took, pain radiated across her body and she wondered why her healing factor hadn’t kicked in yet. “Gabby?” The girl half yelled, followed by a semi-silent groan escaping her lips as she stepped. When she found her friend, she rested against a wall for a few moments. “I-I’m hurt, but I’ll be fine. Are you okay?”
Gabby squinted her eyes at Adore. Fine wasn't exactly what she looked like. She didn't even look like she would be fine soon. "Is that your blood?" She asked, voice filled with worry. "We need to stop the bleeding if that's your blood. But I really hope it's not your blood. Can it be someone else's blood, please? That's probably not very nice." Half of that sentence was supposed to never have been voiced but Gabby had a tendency to speak too much when nervous. "I'm okay, just having a bit of trouble walking for some reason." Shrugging, as if no one could see the injury, Gabby moved to stan a little closer to Adore, biting her lip in pain. "What do you think happened? Are we being attacked?"
