“Yeah really, I’m your boyfriend. You want to get back into the flashing lights I’m going to support you and fly out to where you are for a visit. I think at this point I’m too far gone to not see you at least once a week in person.” He stated with a chuckle, looking at her with warmth and adoration in his gaze. “You don’t need to thank me for being so supportive though, babe,” He breathed, bringing a hang up to gently move some of her hair away from her face. “That’s what I’m supposed to do, and I’m happy to do it.” He kissed her back briefly, only to take his keys out of the ignition.

“Alright you sit right there, I’m going to open your door for you.” He stated, tossing her a playful wink. CJ got out of the car and ran around to the passengers side, making sure to open the back door so he wouldn’t forget the cooler he’d brought with them too, before opening her door and holding a hand out dramatically. “Miss, if you would be so kind as to take my hand.” 

His chuckle instantly helped her relax, “I don’t think my heart could handle seeing you less. I’d miss that handsome face of yours too much.” It brought such comfort to her though for him for assure his support. Even if she knew he always did it made all those thoughts floating in the back of her mind calm down. She could have this amazing relationship with CJ and her career. It felt like it was possible to have a lot of good things in her life at once. Maybe it wouldn’t be as intimidating as she thought it would be. “It still means a lot to me...” She said softly, her head tilting into his touch, “You’re doing an amazing job at it.” 

“Such a gentleman.” She complimented, watching him as he moved around the car. Growing more and more excited for this date and what he had planned. But they could really be doing anything together and she’d be happy. Looking up at him once he finally opened the door, chuckling at his dramatic motions. “Oh gladly. You wouldn’t have to ask me twice.” Gabriella took his hand before getting out of the car. Finally glancing around at their destination, “You made an amazing choice for your surprise, babe.”

The idea of them being alone, and possibly going to Disney was enough for him to let out an excited sound, however, he held it within his chest for a second. She didn’t need to know how much that thought excited him. “I would love that. I’ve been wanting a vacation, and a vacation with you? That’d be great.” He stated, bringing their joined hands up to his lips and kissing her knuckles. 

They had arrived at their destination and he pulled to the side of the road close to the sand bank they’d have to climb. “Well you need to keep your profession up too, babe. Maybe choose one and if you have to go away, I can come visit you? Maybe after you do that we can go on our vacation?” He suggested, leaning over the centre console to press a soft kiss to her lips. 

“Thanks for not completely reading my mind.” 

“It wouldn’t feel right to go on a vacation and not enjoy it with my favorite person.” Gabriella said with a bright smile, “I feel like I’ve been on one for awhile I guess but still this is different. It would be our first trip as a couple.” Not only would it be fun but it’d be a milestone for them too.

His suggestion made her smile grow, “Really? I’d love that.“ Just that thought alone made her a little more interested in doing a project. “I suppose that would be a good motivation to try something. I guess a little appearance in New York and doing a little concert. It could be a nice little gradual step back into the business.“ Her smile grew against his lips, not being able to help but lean in and steal another kiss. “Thank you for being so supportive.”

”I can’t wait to see what you have planned. You always have such great ideas.”

“If we could read one anothers minds already, I’d be in big trouble - cause you’d know what my big plan is!” He said, pretending to sound scared. In all honesty, they knew one another so well that he wouldnt’ be surprised that if on some level or plane, they could tell what the other was thinking. 

They didn’t have much more of a drive before they were where they needed to stop, only to have to travel to their next destination on foot, but he was enjoying his time in the car with her. “Have you thought much about where we could go?” He asked, his interest had been piqued when she had mentioned going on vacation, but he didn’t want to push her. He knew she was busy trying to get things sorted. 

“Has she sent you anything project wise?” 

A surprised expression washed over her face, “You know maybe that’s right! Maybe it wouldn’t be as much fun then. Don’t worry I’ll hold off on the mind reading for now. I love your surprises too much.” She let her fingers move over the back of his hand.

“I was thinking some place fun, something where there were multiple things to do. Maybe a Disney park? We could spend some days there, others at the beach. My parents have a very nice place out there too where we have a pool where we can be alone too.“ She rambled off, already finding herself thinking of so many ideas.

”She’s actually sent me some shows and a movie. But also some little appearances in New York. They all sound good but I can’t help but want to enjoy as much time here as I can.“

The warm kiss to his knuckles was welcomed, surprising, but welcomed. It made a warmth spread through him and CJ resisted looking over at her. He wanted to keep his cool, but Gabs made it so hard for him some times. 

He laughed at her reaction and nodded, “Yeah I’m not gonna lie, I was a little worried that you were gonna come out here in jeans. But you didn’t! It’s like you knew that my surprise would need some cool clothing.” CJ stated, finally glancing at her. Her gaze made his heart skip a beat and he felt like the luckiest guy in the world. 

CJ took a right and continued to drive. “What have you been  up to today, babe?” 

Gabriella moved their hands back so they could rest between them. Her thumb brushing over his knuckles. She couldn’t help but be so affectionate with him. It felt like after so long of not wanting to be too obvious with her feelings for him, she didn’t want to hold back on them anymore.

“That or we are finally able to read each other’s minds, anything is possible.“ She joked, her smile instantly growing when their eyes met. It was so easy to get lost in his eyes. Well in everything about him. Her other hand moving to go over theirs.

“Well I thought some more on places we could go to for a vacation. Trying to find some projects to keep my agent happy. She is anxiously awaiting my comeback.”

“A kiss huh? I think I could manage that.” She teased as she got into the car. Not even taking another moment before leaning in and pressing a soft kiss to his lips. Even if it had been awhile since they had admitted their feelings for each other she still felt crazy butterflies whenever they kissed. “Thank you.” She mumbled against his lips before moving to get herself buckled in. 

“Very, you know how I love your surprises.” An excited smile grew on her face, “Do I get any hints though?”

CJ hummed contently as she pressed a soft kiss to his lips. He wanted a longer kiss, but they had the whole afternoon for that. “You are very welcome, thank  you for being your amazing self.” He stated, pulling out of the spot he had parked and once he got back on the road, held his hand out for her to take. 

“Hmm…. Hints.” He stated, tossing her a quizical look. “I think that can be arranged…” CJ paused and hummed slightly. “Youll need sunscreen - which I brought… There’s food involved…. Yeah I think that’s good.”

“Well I try my best, I think you’re just rubbing off on me at this point.“ She teased, her attention moving back to him. It was always difficult to keep her eyes off of him. Gladly taking his hand and lacing their fingers together. Lifting his hand so she could press a kiss to his knuckles.

Gabriella rose her eyebrows though, ”Hmm, sunscreen and food. It sounds like an amazing time to me. Thank goodness I dressed for the warmer weather.” Glad that she picked out the sundress to wear for today.

CJ let out a chuckle as he leaned over to open the door for her when he saw Gabriella approaching. “A thank you is more than enough, but I’ll gladly take a kiss?” He stated, waggling his eye brows. She looked phenomenal as always, she always took his breath away, and he was happy that that hadn’t changed. 

“Are you excited for our adventure?”

CJ bounced enthusiastically to the music blaring from the speakers of his car as he made his way towards Gabriellas place. He had a date planned for the two of them and wanted to surprise her. All she knew was that they were going out and he was picking her up, other than that he’d kept everything a secret. 

Once he pulled up to her place, he parked and texted her that he was there. His energy was high, and he was excited to see how she was going to react to what he had planned.

Gabriella  was surprised by the flowers and strawberries but they instantly made a smile grow on her face. The fact that he had a date planned was just icing on top. She loved whenever he thought of these surprises, even if she always hoed to get some hints at what he had planned. 

When she got his text she quickly headed downstairs, letting him know she’d be there in a second. Once she spotted his car she waved at him, “Hey you, it feels like a thank you isn’t enough for those beautiful flowers.” She complimented.

Roderick: Not really. I was debating between using a cliff or if I was just gonna film it in my basement.

Roderick: Seriously? That's wicked

Gabriella: It is! I mean it was a bonus I got time to relax but also running into so many great people and my boyfriend being here? It makes it even better.

Gabriella: Both are nice! I feel like the basement would make it intimate but depending on the song the outdoors could be nice too!

Gabriella: It really was! They were doing these music videos for more pop sounding versions of songs and I couldn't not take part.
