Illustrations for an article in Duke Magazine, focusing on the work of neurobiologist Erich Jarvis, one of the researchers who led a global effort to redraw the avian family tree.
I’m excited to share this illustration I did for Audubon Magazine’s Illustrated Aviary feature. Kevin Fisher, whom I worked with last year, asked me to reimagine John James Audubon's Ruby-throated Hummingbird, from the Birds of America series. It was such a pleasure to work on this very special project! Many thanks to Kevin for the opportunity.

Gaby D’Alessandro's piece is a gorgeous change of pace from the primarily world-building pieces that I've featured so far! Her work typically involves a lot of dense patterns, and I love how this piece illustrates the macrocosm/microcosm nature of the game. Plus the color is spot-on!
I’ve already made a dummy book of this zine and lemme tell you - it’s really shaping into something awesome. Keep checking back for more pieces until we debut at MoCCA!
My contribution to kevinjaystanton's fezzine. Many thanks to Kevin for inviting me to be a part of this awesome project!!
