[halesamantha]

Um, no, I’m okay. [She grabs a bag off the floor and goes into the bathroom to change. When she finishes, she leaves the bathroom to go into the bedroom and sees Gage isn’t there. She pauses for a moment before taking a seat on the edge of the bed and drums her fingers on her knees as she waits].

[gagekidd]

Hey babe? [he calls out from the kitchen, taking a bite of his sandwich.] You sure you don’t want a sandwich? I just tried it and it’s probably the best one I’ve ever made. [he grabs the plate, walking towards the bedroom.] 

[halesamantha]

Only in your dreams. [She smiles and leans into him, closing her eyes for a moment as he wraps his arms around her]. Mmm, yeah, I got the keys. [She sighs and opens the door, pulling herself away from his embrace to step into the apartment]. Um, I just…need to change. So I’ll meet you in the bedroom?

[gagekidd]

We’ll see about that. [he walks in after her, running a hand through his hair as he heads for the kitchen.] Yeah, of course. You want anything to drink? Or eat? 

[halesamantha]

[Sam picked up her speed and in no time, caught up with Gage, who she matched her pace with]. Have I been proven wrong yet, Gager? [She doesn’t wait for a reply as she hurries up once more and stops once she reaches their door]. Looks like I win. But that was to be expected.

[gagekidd]

[he rolls his eyes, running off after her.] One day I’ll wipe that smug off your face, Sam. [he chuckles, coming to a stop once he catches up at the door. he wraps his arms around her, nuzzling her neck as he catches his breath.] You have the key, right? I left my stuff in the pack’s house. 

[halesamantha]

[the look on his face made her laugh].

You know I can beat you in a race any day. Years of running, remem— [she stops mid sentence as Gage grabbed her butt and yelped. She pauses for a moment before running after him]. 

[gagekidd]

[he looks back over his shoulder, sticking his tongue out at Sam.] Years of runnin’ my ass! C’mon, bubble butt! We don’t have all day! [he calls out teasingly, turning around and picking up his speed.]

[halesamantha]

[A surprised look appeared on her face as he placed another kiss on her cheek]. You’re terrible, you know that? And your other shirts are safe, the one I have is my favourite one of yours. I’m sure no one would mind you walking around shirtless and besides, it doesn’t get that cold around here. [She frees her hand from his and smacks his butt before jogging a little ahead of him and turning around to look at him]. Come on, lets go home. I still feel tired.

[gagekidd]

Pft, you secretly love it, Sammy. [he snorts, staring ahead.] Yeah? Well... then I guess there wouldn’t be any harm in-- [he’s cut off by the sudden smack, looking a lot like a deer in headlights as he watches Sam run ahead.] 

Y’know, a simple ‘Gage, let’s hurry’ would’ve sufficed. [he laughs, jogging after her.] Race you there? [he asks, but before she can respond he gives her butt a squeeze before he’s running off again.] 

[halesamantha]

Technically, you did kiss me. On the cheek, remember? [she turns her face to show the cheek he had kissed her on earlier and taps it with her free hand]. I…only have your one shirt…and you let me keep it! Convince you? I can definitely do that. I already have plans.

[gagekidd]

What are you talking about, Sam? I never kissed your cheek. [as the opportunity presents itself, he plants yet another kiss on her cheek, looking smug once he pulls away.] I did! But I can’t risk losing my other shirts. Before I know it, I’ll be forced to walk around shirtless. And I mean, I’m not complaing but still... it gets cold sometimes, y’know? Heh, yeah, I know. We’re cuddling together.

[halesamantha]

You’re embarrassing me. [she covers her face with her free hand, but the smile is still on her face]. Okay, lets go around the block. [she squeezes his hand in return and brings their enclosed hands to her lips and places a kiss before letting them fall between them once more]. Yeah, that’s it. You can take your shirt off and everything. I won’t mind.

[gagekidd]

Aw, c’mon. I haven’t even kissed you yet. [he bites down on his bottom lip, a lousy attempt at keeping himself from smiling like an idiot.] So you can stash it away in your secret pile? I’ll have to think about it. ...or if you convince me.

[halesamantha]

Shut up Gager [she mumbles, but there’s a smile on her face]. Hmm…lets go for whichever one is closer. I’m sorry, I know I’m being difficult but I’m just having one of those days.

[gagekidd]

I call it as I see it, Tomato. [he takes the moment to brush her hair away from her face, greeting her with a teasing smile before he starts walking.] So around the block, then? [he squeezes her hand gently, shaking his head.] Difficult how? I know you’re just dyin’ to cuddle with me so... it’s completely understandable.

[halesamantha]

[She smiles and lets her hair fall over her shoulders to hide the blush in her cheeks before nodding.] Yeah, okay. That would be nice. Lets go.

[gagekidd]

I can still see you, y’know? [he grins, grabbing her hand as he leads them outside.] Alright, so... a walk around the park or the lake? 

[halesamantha]

Do you want me to take it out? And bounce where? I just want to crawl into bed to be honest.

[gagekidd]

Nah, it’s fine. Let them yell for a bit. [he leaned forward, kissing her cheek.] Go for a walk, maybe? And then we can both crawl into bed together. 

[halesamantha]

What are you talking about?

[gagekidd]

Someone forgot to take out the trash. And by someone I mean me. Wanna bounce? 

[gagekidd]

“Nope.  It’s too early for this.  Where’s the eject button when you need it?”

[halesamantha]

Assuming that you do. Again, don’t get carried away with that idea. I’ll duct tape your mouth if you do. Go ahead and say it. I have no idea what you—….oh. Well, I—…okay. You can have me on the table.

The only way I can think of helping is by causing pain, and not to you.

[gagekidd]

Duct tape my mouth? Well, you can try but it'll make me brag even more. I-- Wow. ...alright, I could really use that run right now. 

C'mon, a little smack never hurt anyone?

[halesamantha]

I’m not Wonder Woman. I’m better than Wonder Woman. Alright, there might be a small chance. But it’s microscopically small. Do I want you to…what?

I wouldn’t smack you. If you’re not happy with yourself, then just stop. If you don’t, maybe you are happy with it, you know?

[gagekidd]

True... which is why it'll make it even better when I win. I promise not to brag... much. You know what, Sam. Do you really want me to say it?

Oh no, I'm definitely not happy with it. Which is why I need your help.

[halesamantha]

Hey now, don’t get too carried away with that thought. I’ve been running for as long as I can remember. You can never beat me. Will we? Well, lets get going.

How do you plan on doing that?

[gagekidd]

So have I. Well, a little after high school but still. It's not like you're Wonder Woman, Sam. There's a small chance that I can lovingly kick your ass. Well... Do you want me to? I-- Yeah, let's go. 

I could ask you to smack me every time I make a joke? That could work.

[halesamantha]

I don’t doubt that you will. A walk? You’re not planning on stealing my virtue in the woods, now are you?

Ah, well. I don’t mind Rory and his humour so in turn, I won’t mind it coming from you either.

[gagekidd]

I've been keeping up, right? At this rate, I'll win a race against you. Stealing your virtues, huh? We'll see.

Still. I need to get rid of that habit. 

[halesamantha]

You’re more than welcome to come with me, but I’m not gunna slow down for you, KIdd. Yeah, me too. The woods are so lovely and feels endless in the night. Yeah, but I’ll be fine. Aren’t I always?

I don’t know…you’re a strange one, Gage. I don’t mind the dad jokes. Better coming from you than Rory.

Don't worry, I'll catch up in no time. Tell you what, how about we ditch the movie for a bit and go out for a walk? 

So are you, dork. It's become a problem now... I need to bite my tongue at times, you know?
