hey there!! i was just wondering, how do you get such good quality on your tumblr posts? is there a certain canvas size you use, or maybe resolution? saving as a png vs jpeg? thanks!!

Hello!! I normally use a big canvas (always on png!) so I’m able to freely resize it the way I want afterwards. Sometimes it goes from 2500x3100px or bigger to at least half that size once everything’s done, but I guess it only seems of a higher resolution because I always use the Sharpen effect. This makes the art look more “focused,” and even though it does lose some of its original resolution to me, once it’s uploaded it just looks normal to everyone else (?).

On Photoshop it’s Filter > Sharpen > Smart Sharpen. I always use the Amount on 86%, occasionally changing it if the piece asks for something different. I’m not sure if the difference will be very visible to you, but here’s a closeup of a recent art I’ve made, with and without the Sharpen effect (respectively):

(I also use this only after resizing the piece, once it’s all finished.)

Other than that, I think I usually do pretty ordinary stuff? I’m glad the quality of my art seems reasonable though lmao because it’s always a struggle for sure! But hopefully this cleared things up! <3

10 left of Bundle 1 (zine + stickers)

14 left of Bundle 2 (zine + sticker + postcards)

9 left of Bundle 5 (zine + postcards)

Over a dozen of postcard pairs and sticker sheets!

We’ll accept orders until tomorrow Friday 14th at 9 PM GMT. There’s an slight chance we can offer any leftover stock on a later date, but it’d be best for our organization that you get it during this period!

That said, a few things to keep in mind:

We can’t add new things (like postcards or stickers) to previous orders anymore, because most of them are already packed!

We can’t offer any “last minute” discount, so don’t expect for it to happen, sorry!

A digital copy won’t be released until all stock is gone, so if you’re waiting for it, help us advertise this last sales batch!

You’ll receive a confirmation email + tracking code once we’ve shipped your order!
