You’re worse than my Aunt, Professor.
Parts of my life don’t make sense. The earlier times, really. I want to know so I don’t get caught off guard if the same person who tortured my best friend comes after me. I can handle physical aspects. But I’d hate for him to know more about my life than I do and try to use it against me. I know there’s a great chance he wouldn’t go out of his to hurt me, I’m not important to him, thankfully, but there’s still a chance.
Why would I want to forget my past? I don’t want to forget anything.
I don't know your Aunt, so I don't know if that's good or bad, but she sounds like a smart woman.
I understand... I wouldn't expect any less of you Amy, you're braver than most, a shining example of a true Gryffindor. While some would rather erase or forget their pasts, you embrace it, you don't let it stop you, you use it to help move you. You're a smart girl, Amelia Pond, you'll do great things one day, I know it.
Now to induce memories... have you first tried the Pensieve?

With all due respect, Headmaster Shurley, but might I be so bold as to say that you, sir, are more oblivious than a tree stump in quicksand? I could go so far as to say that the children were traumatised by the events that took place last night. Now, granted, these children are tough, but the blood rain was... shall we say... a bit excessive? And if you can't see that Headmaster I can't help but question your authority.
Of course that is just one man's opinion.

I thought we had rules around here, or is it that just because I could just conjure up some more that this crime holds no significance… The child could have conjured some up him or herself.
Then detention if you feel so inclined... You and I have very different methods of dealing with the children's behaviour.
I'm saying there are more mature ways of approaching such actions other than wailing down the corridors. You are a mature adult are you not, Professor Saxon?
