Funny how the catastrophe of the Avatar movie leaking is the gateway to bringing Lego Monkie Kid back with its original studio:

It's a shame how we're at the point of hoping one project fails so we can enjoy another. It shouldn't be like this.

But, at the end of the day, I'd take LMK over anything else. In a heartbeat. Avatar had its time to shine. It's story was told. Give the spotlight to something else already.

It’s been 9 years since the first Trolls movie, and I think it’s safe to say the fandom has really slept on Branch of all trolls, uttering this:

I’m imagining a scenario of them eating pizza with Gristle and Bridget (Branch’s brothers there too just because) —A little deja vu of Bridget slapping Gristle’s hand for a pizza slice and Gristle would be like: “Hey, that kinda reminds me of our first date… when you said the most beautiful thing to me.”

And Bridget is like, “Huh…. Ohhh yeah! Funny story actually, I wanted to say something but I froze up…” then points at Branch and goes, “But Branch saved me by saying all that sweet stuff.”

Even worse, Poppy remembers it word for word and shares Branch’s little poetry to the whole picnic.

I think the saddest thing about Lisa’s backstory is that she’s been living in the human world for so long atp and still has no understanding of humans because she’s kept her heart closed the entire time due to her resentment and trauma. The way she talked about the scientist who was working on the potion’s last testament so flippantly kinda hurt because it showed a fundamental lack of knowledge of the human experience and spirit.

Again, I don’t blame her for this because she had those awful experiences, but the irony is the goodness of humanity was on full display in him and she was never able to see it and realize that her negative experience doesn’t define an entire species. Even outside of that, she literally works at an aquarium with kids, who are universally accepted as the best of humanity because they aren’t born with inherent hatred or biases and she still doesn’t get it.

That said, Lisa’s backstory has just totally endeared her as a character to me. Such a heartbreaking tale of resilience and determination. She’s been struggling for so long to save her people and even after Lara technically caused it, she still wants to reconnect with her sister too. I love when antagonists have arguments that are valid and make you question what you’d do in the same situation!

In the newest President Curtis episode(2), Amelia Earhart was found by FDR’s people flying in circles so they put her on Triangle transit since she was the only one who could navigate it. She’s played by Kristen Schaal.

Kristen Schaal also worked on a project called, “Great Minds with Dan Harmon,” where she plays Amelia Earhart.

In Bob’s Burgers, Louise has a presentation called, “My Hero.” It’s the season 13 finale. She chooses to do it on Amelia Earhart. Louise is also played by Kristen Schaal.
