I like the Fandom Fiyero a lot better than how he actually is in both book and musical but Gawd it's all just a bastardized version of him in most aspects. Like other than Elphaba and MAYbe Glinda no one else got actual personality coverage in the book that I can recall. Like Boq was solely there to be swooning and idek what the hell the others did other than fuck a tiger? (That book is DRY at best and Fucking uncomfortable most of the time)

From the Uni part onwards… MM . YEAH THIS IS TRUE LMAO NO ONE HAS A PERSONALITY BUT ELPHABA. Glinda So rt Of Does, she does get more than most of the characters, but forreal like. Everyone Else just kind of work as reflectors for Elphaba? Which is what 2 dimension characters are for, you cant have every character be fleshed out But … you can have .. mroe than 2 characters perhaps

BUT i would say, for the time they were featured, Frex and Melena were actually fairly well defined and were some of the most fascinating characters in the book because of it. Which was a very good base to inform so much of Elphaba’s personality - aka … the only Real personality
