the long-eared owl is a medium-sized owl with a lanky build; they have a wide breeding range, and are found in north america, europe, asia and small portions of northern africa. they nest in dense woodlands, but prefer to hunt over open ground, and so they frequently prefer woodland edge habitats to have the best of both worlds accessible. the majority of their diet consists of small rodents, particularly voles. like other owls, they are nocturnal, and their secretive nature can make them hard to spot. the oldest long-eared owl on record lived to 12 years, one month of age; they were originally banded in new york, and re-captured in ontario, canada.
So far this is what I don’t like about Brennan as DM - a lot of exposition and monologuing and very little action or character interaction.
Two hours, and we still haven’t been introduced to all the characters.
Also, the constant comings and goings of people at the table was too chaotic. I realize that they’ll eventually switch to smaller tables, but I already have qualms about not having a consistent cast and going weeks between seeing people I like versus people who just don’t click for me.
I was hoping for another weekly anchor for some stable joy in my life, but this won’t do, I believe.
I don’t know if I can keep watching Critical Role if they continue with the focused camera angles instead of a full table.
This feels highly edified and lacks the natural dynamic they’ve cultivated for years.

I thought Tumblr would get a kick out of this
This quiz isn't just for white men; come find out what you would be if you were a white man, or if you really are one lets see how esp I am.
Tumblr isn't social media, it's a habit. Like smoking. We're all gathering by the dumpster in the cold, reblogging posts.
Where y'all digging to?? https://www.antipodesmap.com/

If I wanted to watch a bunch of people I don’t know be DMed by Brennan Lee Mulligan, I’d watch Dimension 20.
I watch Critical Role for the main cast and their dynamic and interactions with each other.
It’s not Critical Role if it’s a bunch of unfamiliar people with Sam Riegel at a table, or a group of strangers with Laura Bailey.
I don’t like change, and they changed everything.
I’m glad they’re using D&D, but I don’t like the split tables with five additional players for C4.
I fell in love with Critical Role because of their relationships with each other, their storytelling, and Matt’s DM style.
I can’t get excited about split tables where I won’t see my favorites together in addition to Brennan as DM.
Everything in my life has changed too much, and CR was an anchor for me to hold through the instability. Now it’s part of the instability.
what is your number 8 song on your on repeat playlist?
I don’t like the changes for Critical Role’s campaign four.

Sorry to break yall's hearts but this is too well written of a post to not include in here.
