"Shit, fuck, what are you doing?" The pyro bent down to look at the engineer, hoping to get a response. The look in his eyes told her how much pain he was in, and with a quickly glance, she could tell it wasn't something external. "Hewlett, what the hells wrong." She pushed the engineer over, to lay on the snow, and surroung him and in the cold ice, pain meant heat, cooling it down was all she could do. "MEDIC!" she screamed at the top of her lungs before firing a bullet into the sky. "MEDIC!"

Hewlett didn't say anything, nor make a noise. Oh god,did it hurt. What? His brain couldn't even comprehend what it was. Soon he finally saw Mercy in his sight. He tried to call out to her, but nothing was working. When she saw him, the Engineer closed his eyes and tried to focus where the pain was. "Hand..." he finally choked out.

"Alright, here we go…" he cleared his throat and put his goggles on, “‘m Isaak, a medic for BLU. ‘m sometimes a bit awkward around people."

The pyro giggled at the other uncontrolably, watching him try and fix what he had done. “You put the safety lock on,” she said still laughing, with her hand over her mouth. She reached of to the weapon, pressing the button again and pulling back on the little knob on the side of the trigger. The small flame from the gas can sparked to life, waiting for the rest of the gas to come. 

"B-barely touch it," she continued, taking a few steps back. Now she understood how fearful it must have been for everyone being up against a pyro.

"Right, the safety lock.. I knew that..~" he blinked then smiled at her, laughing a bit himself. The Engineer looked it over, taking in the technology. It was wonderful. He smiled softly to himself as he thought it over.

Hewlett turned his attention back to her and readied the gun. "Alright.." he said cautiously before lightly letting the fire out.

Sure the first layers was, but once it got on her boots, that was it„ she was done for, the cold would win. “Y-you every used a f-flamethrower before?” Didn’t mattter, shed end up being dry, even if it meant going through respawn.

"No, but it's worth a shot, right?" Hewlett gave her a large, confident smile, then picked up the flamethrower. "Alright," he said, looking it over, "So y' push this button and..." he pushed a button but nothing happened, "Oh.."

Wow he was a bigger idiot then she realize. “F-four layers,” she replied again. “Only pyro on b-base, soaking wet, water doesn’t dry to quickly in the c-cold.” 

Dropping the weapon to her side, she grabbed her arms pulling her body as close together as possible to conserve heat. “This things isn’t as easy to take on and off, to dry it in time for the next round.”

He looked her over, "I thought that'd be more resistant ta water. Well.." the Engineer eyed the weapon and smiled at Marcy, "I could try and use it."

Holding the gun carefully she made sure not to burn her teammate keeping her distance. “E-easy for you to s-say,” she continued. “Y-you’re not the one, t-that has to s-stay wet.”

A shiver ran down his spine, but slowly he started to warm up. Looking over at his teammate, he asked, confused, "Why do y' have ta stay wet?"

Rolling around she had loosened the snow up around her, finally managing to get up and retreave her flame thrower. 

"Dumb fuck," she laughed ringing the water out from her hair. "Spin around I’ll dry you off."

Shivering, he got up and ran his fingers through his hair, "T-Thanks." He then started to spin around, "I-It was fun while it lasted."

Setting her flame thrower, the pyro sighed, sitting down in the snow before laying for completly. “I’m swear we’re both gonna end up dead,” she groaned before following the other in rolling around. She was stopped quickly however, getting caught in a large hole. 

"I’m gonna end up dead…"

"OK, I'll admit," he said after he stopped and looked at the pyro, "This might have been a terrible idea." By then he was visible shaking. Maybe a Texas local shouldn't be rolling around in snow. "Hey," he shrugged, "The worst that will happen is that we'll wake up warm in respawn."

Amie leaped after him, laughing loudly. She fell beside her beloved, snow pushed above her like small white walls. “‘ewlett, Ai cannot zee you~!”

Hewlett didn't respond right away. After a few moments, he poked his head over the wall of snow and smiled, "Found ya!"
