To say this episode upset us would be an understatement. It broke our hearts and ripped our hope. It sunk our ship and sent us with it. Mickey Milkovich deserved better. Hell, even Ian deserved better. They deserved each other after everything they've gone through. But through this "Happy ever after" shit ending the writers gave us we have to see that Mickey will see his sunny beach and Ian will see his family. The writers may not acknowledge their true love but we always will.

MICKEY WAS LEFT STUNNED AND HEARTBROKEN AT THE BORDER WHEN HE WAS SO CLOSE TO THE ONE THING HE WANTED…FREEDOM WITH THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE. I DONT BLAME IAN AT ALL I BLAME ONLY THE WRITERS BECAUSE IAN LEFT HIS LIFE BACK HOME FOR MICKEY HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS GETTING HIMSELF INTO BUT THE WRITERS JUST COULDN’T LET THESE TWO BE HAPPY TOGETHER. ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT IS MICKEY SIGHING A RELIEF THAT HE MADE IT ACROSS THE BORDER ONLY TO REALIZE HE’S BACK TO BEING ALONE. AFTER EVERYTHING MICKEY HAS BEEN THROUGH HE DESERVES SO MUCH MORE.
