Porco and Reiner reluctant teamwork
When Porco is first told to work with Reiner, his immediate reaction is Disgust.
Reiner doesn’t really oppose to the Marley’s decision, mostly because he’s still on the warning of his armour being stripped.
The plan is to infiltrate enemy lines in the dead of night and destroy the base that they created.
The whole way there is just Porco complaining of how he’s got paired with someone ‘incompetent’.
Porco much rather be paired with Pieck.
Reiner’s just lost his ability to care at this point.
Porco tries to get in Reiner’s way, just to see him mess up and try to explain as to why he made that mistake.
It’s cold behind enemy lines and every step is difficult, even for a titan.
It’s almost a blizzard when they finally track down the base.
Reiner decides that it’s best to use the cover of the storm to their advantage.
It’s evening and the sun is setting, as little visible as it is behind the snow. Porco circles around to the back, while Reiner does a full on tackle tot he gate at the front of the base.
Of course, the enemy would be alerted of the two Titan’s presence, i it wasn’t for the snow.
The front gate guard don’t even have a few seconds to process the Armoured Titan running straight for the gate.
While their distracted, Porco takes out the back gate guards so they can’t help in defeating Reiner.
Getting through their first defences are easy for them, but it’s when they get inside the main base, is when things get difficult.
But thankfully, with their strategy, it mostly works.
I say mostly because there’s a point where Porco’s Titan’s leg get’s blown off and Reiner has to throw Porco behind a load of boxes to heal up.
Porco is later saying along the lines of ‘I didn’t need your help, I wanted them to think they had got me before they attacked !’
Reiner still doesn’t care at this point.
