Purpose
A tail bright orange struts the road.
A squirrel with a grey body.
"Does it know it wont live a long life?"
Sometimes beautiful things can make it vulnerable to predators.
Sometimes the brightest of nature is bright for a reason.
Though that bright orange tail is not poison.
It struts with reason.
It might out live most of us.

A short poem
My hands smell like its been days since your last shower.
Your imperfections are what makes my hands ripe with juices of freshness.
A stench that most would turn away from but under ur layer of clothing there is no sign of rot.
Only the one you hold dear can unveil a naked that is clothed.
Even the unveiled center of your heart is longing to be scrubbed clean, any spot missed is a burden.

They sit on a throne of thorns in a white gown.
Not a drop of blood stained on their dress.
A withered flowered crown yet smells like a fresh bloom.
They sit legs crossed and their pricked legs can be mistaken as strawberry skin.
Mouth shut yet they cry petals.
Iv told you countless times you only give me compliments when im naked as a joke but I mean it cause I blame my memory loss on the fact that I choose not to remember and block out everytime you call me beautiful, everytime you say I have the most beautiful eyes when deep down inside I know I have dirt colored eyes. I choose to forget what I already know

I only remember the times you compliment me naked just to throw my anger at you how your just like all the other boys. But I forget you've seen me naked with my clothes on.
I only remember the times you compliment me naked because you can see what others cant and I hide myself from the mirror so many times I forget what my own body looks like.
A work of art in your eyes.. to me an art work working to mean something to someone to finally get noticed and acknowledge so I hide it under a cloth so when someone finally lifts up the dusty painting in the corner they can see the true beauty...
even tho I forget the person that lifted the cloth off of the dusty painting once helped paint it and once found it with dull colors and painted it with bright beautiful colors. Made the painting what I should be a work of art.. It gave the painting power and meaning that it so longed for. He helped the painting become a better version of itself.
Its hard to believe the compliments you give me because I dont even believe the compliments I give myself.. I know your intentions are true.. but how can you love me when I forget everything you do.
Naked
When I write poetry im usually at my lowest. I write what Im to afraid to say..so instead I write my poems in a way that they can understand..I just hope they get my call for help.
