…Personally I was hoping for something a bit more… amorphous and bizarre, given what the setting is capable of, but any ally monster is better than no ally monster!

I can’t help but feel the core silhouette, shackles, and poison blood hearken very strongly of Risk of Rain’s Acrid, though, but I’m also biased as Hell ‘cause I was in on RoR’s closed beta and contributed a little to that game, haha (also, if you Google him, my two fanarts are among the top images, lol). I was super stoked when Acrid was revealed there, too. It’s the same pattern. “PLAYABLE MONSTER CLASS, HELLS YESSSS”

I’m super curious to see how the shapeshifting mechanic works with the game systems. I kind of see it working sort of like Aegislash in Pokemon, where certain abilities come with a change of form. Either that or he’s always in monster form in the field, and human in town.

SO CURIOUS. WANT LEARN MOAR.
