Ah, a solider for your cause I see. The poor stealing the lives of the rich to show them where they belong…I dig. That’s kinda what I’m doing in the music world because there are so many talented women, not girls, who have rocking abilities but are instead told be groupies. I’m not groupie material, and if I ever had to be I’d probably slit my own throat before my parents could get to me.

*grins* Well if it makes you feel better, if I decide you're groupie material, I'll slit your throat for you.  But I suppose you could put it that way, I mean, I'm not exactly poor though.  I just think Soc's should stick to their own fuckin' neighborhood and leave us to ours.  I guess you're right though, it is partly because they always come down here, rubbin' their high and fuckin' mighty act in all the Greasers' faces and that shit pisses me off.

Oh right. Good point there since I need an amp and stuff. So aside from murdering girls, what else do you do around here?

*smiles sweetly* Oh, I don't just murder girls, that would be ridiculous.  I like to think of it more as...keeping the Greaser lands free from Soc tyranny. *chuckles* I also like to gamble.

*laughs softly* The kind where you don't act differently from the words that are comin' out of your mouth.

[Marie stopped] You know what, how about I just sing for you right now?

*shrugs* If you like I suppose.  Course then you might not get where you're goin'.  I was under the impression you wanted me to see your skills on the guitar as well though.

I know. -scrunches her nose- I’m sorry?

*picks up a fry and holds it out to her to eat* You should be sorry, my poor brain can only take so much of your mixed signals. *smirks*

Then that’s what’s going to happen. Nothing much I can do about it except survive which is what I’m doing anyway. As long as I get to sing for O’Malley records before I die I’ll be a happy woman.

*smirks* Then I guess you'll die a happy woman since you get at least one last chance to sing.  Best make it the performance of your life as well. Then you can go out on a high note.

Yeah I expected that one, there’s never a safe place or a safe person in these parts but it comes with the territory. Thankfully when we get signed we won’t have to deal with any of this anymore. Move out to Hollywood, do a gig in front of adoring fans every night, get drunk, get laid and then do it all again the next day. That’s the goal.

*laughs* That's a big dream to be haven'.  You should probably be a bit more worried about your immediate future and less about where you're gonna end up.  I mean, I hate to break it to you doll, but chances are you're gonna be dead in a ditch somewhere soon.

*laughs loudly* You're most welcome. *smiles sweetly* Though I feel that I must warn you that you aren't yet in the clear.

Mmmm. -turns around- Stop that. -pops another fry in her mouth-

*tilts his head looking at her, and takes the drink, having a sip* You know, you are confusing.

I am so very upset. Can’t you tell? -smirks, eating another fry-

*laughs* I'll have to work harder on learnin' the signs of you bein' upset. *kisses her neck softly*

Um, thanks….[Awkwardly picks up her stuff] You know who he is?

Never met him, but I know where he lives. *shrugs*

[Catching her breath and wiping away the blood, she shook herself back into reality] I have band practice at this kid’s house, Toulouse O’Malley. Ever heard of him?

*waves a hand for her to follow* Come on, follow me.

B-because I’m pretty rad at playing guitar and I can wail like no other girl in the game right now. So if you kill me, the record company will never discover me and you’ll never get the chance to jive out to some pretty good music [she smiled innocently hoping it was enough]

*presses hard enough for the edge of the blade to break the skin of her neck, drawing a thin line of blood, and whispers softly in her ear* You had better hope that I fall in love with the sound of your voice. *pushes her away from him and puts the knife away* Where are you trying to get to, I'll show you the way.

You are really really getting on my nerves. -smiles, leaning into him, offering him a drink of her malt-

*laughs and takes a sip of the drink over her shoulder* I'm sure I am. I do tend to get on people's nerves quite a lot. *rests his head on her shoulder and eats a fry before returning his arm to her waist* You do seem very upset with me.

Who says it’s an act? -pops a fry in her mouth and smiles-

No one had to say it was an act. *smiles and wraps an arm around her waist from behind* It's just obvious.

-rolls her eyes, taking her shake and fries before walking out-

*picks up his fries and follows after her* Has anyone ever told you that you're cute when you're tryin' to act indifferent?
