Failure by Design//Dice & Sam

Samanthia followed Dice, trying to straighten up everything in her wake. She couldnât help her destructive nature, it was in her genes. She, unfortunately, made sure of that. But it was okay. She didnât mind cleaning up her messes. It just made her feel that much more motherly.Â
As she turned. she saw Dice fighting with a mannequin over a shirt it was holding. She was about to intervene but the mannequin fell to the ground and Dice laughed. âOh honey.â She sighed, rushing over to the prone dummy. Employees started to look at her and she just quickly and quietly apologized to them. She was going to have to have a little talk with Dice in a moment, but when she turned Dice was holding up two sweaters. For a moment Samanthia was confused at her gestures but then the sweater was shoved over her head.Â
âOh! Dice honey! Give meâ!â She tried to snake her way into the sweater and once she was in, she looked down. Dice wanted them to have matching sweaters. Samanthia smiled and tried not to cry. âOh baby of course! I would love to have a matching sweater with you!â Overcome with motherly love, She pulled Dice into a hug and kissed the side of her head.Â
Dice simply nodded at the people Samanthia spoke to, not really listening to what they were saying or taking notice of any of the employees glaring at her. With a vigorous nod, Dice clapped excitedly as Samanthia put on the shirt. It looked so good, just as Dice pictured in her head. They would both look great, so great, especially together. Â
Dice felt a strange tingling sensation, a sort of warmth bubble up in her chest, with a matching sensation in her cheeks. Â She reached her hand to her face, pressing her finger tips onto the spot where Samanthia kissed her; it didn't feel bad, no- quite the opposite actually, it was a good feeling. She liked this feeling. Â Dice felt her cheeks get warm and her instinct was to immediately try to smother it with her hand before realizing that it wasnât a bad thing, at all.Â
They should go shopping more often. This was fun.Â
