these materials are so ugly….
me, getting my objects together and my GOD they have horrid looking materials....
animation showing. not perfect, but its better than what i’ve had before!!
big stuff here!
i also have an inventory system.
what i have in this dungeon test. i just showed the door w/o getting the crystal to show it doesnt open w/o it.
Picking up the crystal and using it on the door. I’m going to adjust the door so its more obvious it needs the crystal.
the health bar is useless and just there for right now. will edit that 4 sure to be hearts or smthn. idk. i dont want a fucking bar tho.
making enemies that attack u is going to be fun. i already have the bit where if they collide w/ u they do damage and that they follow u [endlessly, which can be adjusted]. just need to get it so an actual model w/ animations does this, which i’ve already kinda looked that one up [neat shit!]. so hypothetically im good to go on that front, just need to do it lmao.
should be putting some of this stuff here [whoops!] but i’ve got a good base for FPS, doors open [cant get them to close lmao], doors open with keys [the crystal here], u can crouch, jump, sprint [tho endlessly] and can see what you’ve picked up! will def have to get a different scene for inventory specific things, tho that may get complicated in the future.

putting these here for future reference.
main cams set up. i have 5 misc ones to set up [for closet + rooms]
6 cameras total in the main hall. may add two more if need be.
in-game main corridor storage room and hallway clutter.
very simple. the cart and the other objects are moved to the hallway, in front of that hole in the wall. Thanks BD. Good Work. Thanks A Lot Buddy.

doesnt work for the lamp, not meant to be that color.
im going to do a bit of color editing here then add the cameras + bounds.

still fixing the whole “Counter wont work if u set up the pause menu” and i know its bc the overlay scene [pause screen] isnt active at all times so ill need to figure that out.
update: wont work with the pause menu.
so i gotta figure that out now.

blender crashes when u open up the system menu and start the game player.
ok scripts are running, only blender doesnt want to SHOW me they’re running. not even in the console. what a bizarre program.
now that that is solved…. back to my sharing properties between scenes problem…
i keep posting to the wrong blog
