Two pigeon sisters need a new home! Both are Utility King x Voorburg Shield Cropper/Old German Owl/Frillback mixes. FREE TO GOOD HOME but you pay shipping if applicable. We are willing to drive within 150-200 miles if you pay for gas. There is an online screening form that all interested parties must fill out before approval. This link is here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfkVRihA_5_iyeMZSh8c3f-wUbEJOptaUsLco2u0cGVlkLdGg/viewform Yoshi (white) and Pumpkin (red) are available and ready to go home anytime! They are full sisters and bonded to each other, so I’d like for them to go together if possible. They can be split if needed. They aren’t fond of humans so they are advertised as loft birds. They are both fully vaccinated, healthy, and active birds. Their parents (especially mother) are both fantastic with peep care so I imagine these genes will pass down. If you are interested in a couple of nice loft hens, please PM me or text me at (321) 558-0751. Thanks!! (please reblog) <3
edit: I’m worried about not finding them a home in time, so I’ve made them FREE to a good home!! All homes will be screened to make sure. Please keep my babies and their parents in mind <3 Their parents are also free to good home, if you want to know more about them, please message or text me <3

Pumpkin is available and ready to go home anytime. I think she will do best as a single companion or a loft bird. She is DNA confirmed Female and fully vaccinated/boosted for PMV and Paratyphoid. I've dropped her asking price to $50 plus shipping if applicable. If you'd like to know more about her, please PM me or text me at (321) 558-0751.
She is not the cuddly type (yet) and has some fiestiness to her. If you like a strong, big girl, she's your gal.
All of to date! They are such adorable fluff balls 💕
Angel, hatched 11/24/20
Pumpkin and Yoshi, hatched 3/14/21
Peep (unnamed), hatched 5/17/21
The fluffiest baby we've had 💕 sent off the eggshell today for DNA sexing. Any ideas on what color it may be?
Hatched 5/17 at like 2am
Valentine
2 years old (2/14/19)
Voorburg Shield Cropper x Frillback/Old German Owl
Pied red Female
Valentine is a sassy, independent, food driven hen with a love (obsession) with safflower seeds and sitting eggs. She is incredibly smart and loves to actively explore when not with eggs. When excited, she can do a little tumble in flight! She prefers not to have human contact but will be bribed with food. Her babies from my home have all been beautiful and smart. Too smart for me sometimes!
Zephyr
Unknown age
Utility King
White Male
Zephyr is a reserved, timid boy that much prefers all humans stay away and let him alone with his wife. He isn't the brightest, but he's been deemed the devoted himbo husband in our home. Very thicc, very handsome, and adorable to watch. He has a visible cataract in his left eye, we believe he is mostly-totally blind in that eye. Valentine had to teach this man how to bird, so he has come a long way in knowing how to navigate and act, but I still don't believe he would do well in a large loft setting. I believe he's had some trauma from humans in the past as he's very skittish and submissive.
These two are a very bonded couple and need to go together. A small scale loft or a personal home would be the best for them. They are not human friendly, more human tolerant than anything. I believe they can be bred just fine, so long as you closely monitor Valentine as she likes to take on all the work herself. They are currently on a mix of Foy's pellets and Versele-Laga Mixed Corn pellets with oyster shell and red grit to supplement.
We are located near Nashville, TN. I prefer pickup, but will ship within the U.S. as long as it's safe. The price for both is $150 (plus shipping if applicable). If you are interested or have questions about the lovely couple, you can message me here on Discord or text me at (321) 558-0751.
Click here for a cute album of them!
Pumpkin
6 weeks old (hatched 3/15/21)
Utility King x Voorburg Shield Cropper/Old German Owl/Frillback
Ash red Female
Pumpkin is a sweet, fluffy baby with her momma's fiesty personality. She is food motivated but we haven't found any treats yet that she likes. She enjoys her pellet mix the most. I've done my best to train her to be human friendly/desensitized, but she is currently rebellious because she's just learned to fly. She acts a bit cockish and tries to "fight" you, but once she's calm she will come close and sleep on you. She will tolerate a harness once it is on. Very curious, very strong-willed, and oh so cute!
Pumpkin will be vaccinated and has been DNA gender tested. She is available for pick-up or shipping on 5/21/21. I prefer pick-up, but will ship within the US if it is safe. I believe she would be fine in either a home or small loft setting. Her price is $75 (plus shipping if applicable). Please PM me or text me (321) 558-0751 if you're interested or have any questions about this little darling! 💕
Man I hate how unreliable the mail system is right now. Pretty sure they lost Yoshi and Willow's DNA samples bc they've been sitting at the final facility for 6 days now...
Peeps update! They are a week old today. So chunky!
This is Willow
This is Yoshi
Despite being the "firstborn", Willow is smaller and developing slightly slower than Yoshi. They have both been growing fabulously though, much better than anticipated! I haven't had to intervene or provide supplement care at all. At this point with Angel I was raising him fulltime, but Val and Zephyr have been doing great this time around. Momma Val isn't letting her babies go this time!
....However, they are officially too big for her to sit on them for more than a couple hours (she gets sore and tired quicker now), so I will likely take them when we go for our trip because I don't trust Zephyr to care for them fulltime. We leave for our trip when they are 2 weeks old, so they will be easy to care for.
I'm not confident in color guessing abilities, but I can tell that Yoshi will have more white and Willow will have more red! Very interesting.
I will be training both of them to be as human friendly as possible, with a harness, and in public when they can keep their own heat. By the end of their training, whichever is more bonded to me I will keep. The other will need a new home. Of course, there will be a screening process so I can be sure they go to a good home.
Little fix to my previous post! I've been corrected/taught and wanted to share this great bit of info with you guys:
Parents stop sitting on the babies at a week old, because that's when they can maintain their own body temperature and get too big to cover.
They naturally shift to big, but infrequent feedings around two weeks, because that's when their milk dries up and they switch over to seed, which takes longer to empty.
The week after that, the pair will stop giving them big feeds to begin the weaning process and frustrate them into self feeding.
So knowing this, I shouldn't have to intervene because they are progressing normally! Huge relief ^v^ ... (Still got my eye on you Zephyr >.>)

Say hello to our lil peeps, Willow (top) and Yoshi (bottom)!! 💕
It's been a rough two days helping Willow into this world, I'll post a log of notes taken during the process later.
Picture dump of the handsomest lil man 💕🪶
He's found a new home with @theramseyloft today! I couldn't be happier. If you wanna keep up with him, head over there (but surely I'll reblog everything about him kwfnslmds)
I regrettably haven't updated this blog in a long time due to big life changes and going ons, but hopefully tonight I'll take a moment to sit and queue up some updates for all my birdy loving followers ^v^
