As would be expected of Hijiri, he is really good at trivia! The game show he is most notable for appearing on, Panel Quiz Attack 25, selects a few of their standout competitors from throughout the year. Hijiri’s reason for standing out was especially interesting, though. The game show in question is kind of a mix of trivia and Othello, where for every question you answer correctly you get to place a tile on the board. He is one of the few people on the show to ever successfully fill the entire board, earning him the maximum winning prize of 500,000 yen.
Because of the nature of Japanese academic curriculum highly revolving around memorization, Hijiri performs very well in school. After all, tests aren’t all that different from trivia competitions.
His favorite subject in school is Science. Even outside what he has to study for school and trivia he particularly enjoys researching astronomy and quantum physics. Really anything that we still have a hard time fully comprehending is something he’d probably enjoy researching.
Hijiri’s favorite food is squid ink pasta. It sounds pretty gross, I know, but it actually tastes pretty good. It’s mostly found in Japanese-Italian restaurants or some international chains like Denny’s.
Despite having a rather color neutral wardrobe, his favorite colors are actually light blues. Especially cyan.
He’s no expert, but Hijiri is relatively skilled at Shogi, a Japanese equivalent of Chess. He has a small knack for strategic games.

The type of music Hijiri listens to usually falls under the more classical end of things. Or at the very least, he tends to favor more orchestral music.
His voice can be described as rather soft and wispy. In addition to this, he tends to take pauses between thoughts and phrases, sometimes trailing on S’.
Speaking of his voice, he actually doesn’t show that much emotion through his voice or facial expressions. This has kind of built up an atmosphere of mystery around him, like a natural poker face.
