It was pretty slow today. After work Chiaki would usually go back to her apartment and sleep or play video games. But today the gamer felt like she needed some fresh air. And what better way to get fresh air than to sit outside and play on her phone while in the park? Reaching inside her jacket pocket she grabbed her phone and then sat on the park bench. This was definitely Chiaki's favorite place to be in Toshi. A small smile curved on her lips as she opened the app 'Flappy Bird' and began to play it.

Her thumb repetitively tapped on her phone for who knows how long. The number of her current score stayed on the screen reminding her she had to beat her old high score. Voices around her were ignored. She had to focus. Soon Chiaki was so deep in the game she had completely forgotten what was around her. Unfortunately after feeling a shove on her right shoulder she noticed the real world around her. And also noticed the bird hit the pipe and she didn't even beat her high score.

"Hey!"she puffed her cheeks slightly upset. Victory was so close and this person had to mess it up."I was almost about to beat my high score. Be careful next time."Normally she wouldn't even scold but come on it's Flappy Bird.

He was relatively new to the city so of course, this unfortunate circumstance is not that surprising.

He strolled to his apartment and somewhere along the line he might have taken a wrong turn or two, and somehow found himself in the middle of nowhere — well not exactly nowhere, but in front of an unfamiliar building which is obviously not his apartment.

W-where am I?, he thought miserably as he looked around the streets in search of people he could ask for directions. ”I guess I should ask around huh…” 

Someone help the poor lad.

After a long day of studying Chiaki was totally beat. Being in the house that long without playing video games was something no one should have to experience. All of this could have been avoided if she didn't sleep in every other class. Just moments after finishing that the girl decided it would probably be better to get some fresh air. So Chiaki pulled on her straps, making the backpack go into proper position, and walked off into the city.

In seconds something already caught her attention. A blonde pretty boy who looked lost. After hearing the words he mumbled Chiaki confirmed the situation for him. A soft voice called out to him. "Excuse me." The gamer took a few steps forward. "You look a little lost...Do you need help?"

"Well I guess there's no point in forcing you to..."she let out a sigh."I'm Chiaki Nanami by the way. It's nice to meet you."

Saionji was having one of those booooring days, there was nothing to do, and no one to bother. She swore if this momentum continued on someone should cease her days right now.

She wasn’t even entirely sure what part of the city she winded up in, having drowned out her whereabouts as she drifted off into her own mini dreamland, and not knowing her current location put an edge on her.

Faltering back slightly, she could easily weave out a familiar patent figure from the lingering crowd. And so she careened over to the girl—still wearing that hoodie, she noted—once she got a closer glimpse, she noticed Nanami Chiaki…passed right out.

“Honestly, Big Sis Nanami..!” she murmured to herself, incoherent disbelief written in her tone. Of course all that vanished as a slightly more devious expression took over her face.

She slowly approached from behind, and brought both her index fingers up, promptly poking Nanami in the sides harshly. That should jolt her awake, right?

It was normal for the gamer to fall asleep in the city. Actually there wasn't really a place she hadn't fallen asleep at. Many people either woke her up with very concerned or very confused expressions. Either that or she just woke up and continued with her day. And today Chiaki just so happened to fall asleep. Dreaming of a certain guy with a tie and some guy who has hair like a cotton ball. She was out for at least ten minutes before feeling a sharp jab to her sides. That snapped her awake. 

"Hey that kind of hurt." The girl said slightly irritated, cheeks puffed as she always did when fussy. There was a brief stinging sensation and then it was gone. Chiaki turned her head back slightly to see who it was. Those high pigtails could only belong to one person. "Oh. Saionji-san."

Now Chiaki never hated Hiyoko, even though the things she did were awfully bratty. She knew at heart Hiyoko was just saying all those mean things so they will never be shot back at her. Her whole body turned to the classical dancers direction."It's nice to see you're here too. Did you see the others from the island?"

"Thank you." Noiz said, gritting his teeth to hold back his sly smile. A slyle, yeah, that was a good word. 

The match began and… And… And… 

This girl was too good. Way too good. She had destroyed Noiz mercilessly before he could even land a hit on her. How was this even possible? She wasn’t button mashing, but pressing strategically. Perhaps she owned this game… How inconvenient. 

However, it was only the first round. If Noiz could win the second one as well as the third, he could still claim victory. There was no way he’d let this opportunity slip through his fingers. He’d win at all costs. 

However, the second round was no different. She slayed him quickly, only allowing him to land two hits on her character. This was absolutely wild and illegal!

"G-good game. Wanna play again, or…"

This was pretty easy. He kept repeating his fighting styles so it wasn't much of a challenge to stop him. After the first round she felt that warm fuzzy feeling of success. The second round was a bit concerned for him. Chiaki rarely looked after the rounds, it was only for the sheer fact of making sure he was okay. Slowly that happiness for concern turned to pity that she had beat him without a second thought.

She bit her lip waiting for him to say something because clearly Chiaki was too nervous to say something. When he did the girl was almost way to quick to answer but it was reliving to hear him speak not in an angry voice. Most males that were beaten by her would get really mad. That made her a little guilty. She was only playing she didn't mean any harm.

"Oh yeah. You were good."she put on a smile."I like playing with you Noiz-kun. I feel like finally I have a challenge against you. Let's give it another go, okay? Give me your all!"

It occurred to Haruhi that she didn’t have many friends her age. Of course, she didn’t have many friends in general, but it was especially obvious how alone she was as she walked through town, groups of teenage girls huddled together, gossiping about boys and music. She groaned.

Whatever. They all probably hate each other, anyways.

Haruhi was used to loneliness, it’s true, but moving into Toshi by herself made the standard loneliness feel a little different- a little worse, dare she overlook her pride to admit that.

She sat on a bench outside town, her arms buried into her chest. She was feeling particularly melancholic today. Perhaps a friend would come in handy at a time like this, at least to help cheer her up. Haruhi looked to her left. A girl sat on the bench with her- she looked to be Haruhi’s age, and they even had similar hair lengths, but Haruhi bet this girl had ten times more friends than her. She became envious of this girl, who was nothing more than a stranger to her, all because of assumptions she made. 

A pen sat on the empty middle part of the bench between them. Haruhi watched two tiny ants crawl over it, marking the pen as their own. She wasn’t sure if this was the girl’s pen or not, but it didn’t matter. At least she’ll be able to say she actually had a conversation with someone today. She tapped her on the shoulder.

"Hey, is this your pen? I think these bugs are trying to steal it."

Today didn't start out to great. Chiaki didn't really enjoy all the work she had to do in school but understood she had to finish it all. Much like a game even if the work isn't to satisfying but if you keep going you'll get a fulfilling ending. Or something cheesy like that...Later on during school Chiaki had to go through the realization she didn't have many friends here. She was too silent and was never really the one to go out and say 'Hey let's be friends!' It was hard to take in but she had to accept it. Now for the most current part of her day, that was when it really got hard.

And it wasn't really suppose to end up this way. Chiaki had some left over work to do for her school work. She missed the notes for yesterday so she asked to borrow them. The girl wasn't very good at working in small confined places such as her apartment. It was also because she didn't really know her roommates that well either. So being that she didn't go outside of town that often maybe a new area would sooth her more.

Reluctantly, Chiaki did her work copying down the notes and tried to finish her homework. All was going well. At least of course until the girl began to feel her eyelids get heavier by the second. She was way to sleepy to keep doing this work but kept going. It was only a minute later until her whole body gave out and she went to sleep mode. She wasn't really aware how long she had been out but when she felt a tap on her shoulder and some words calling out to her Chiaki immediately snapped out of it. And put focus on the last remaining words.

"...your pen? I think these bugs are trying to steal it."

With a wipe of the mouth to remove her drool and a push back to see her collectible pen being consumed by ants the gamer frowned."...Oh...I guess it was my pen..."Chiaki sighed, in the next moment she picked up where she last left off. "That was until these bugs took it...Hey do you have this pen? I think they're collectibles at the T-Mart." Her eyes looked so lifeless. She was really bummed about this.

It was a cool breezy afternoon, Maya was wandering around the city doing nothing in particular. She was kind of bored and wanted to find something to do. What could she do? She was done with work, her best friend wanted to be left alone for the week, and besides her she hadn’t really made any proper friends since she came here. Not to mention she got lost in this huge city 90% of the time she went out. Then it hit her.

"I’ll go play some video games-!" 

Maya knew about three maybe four locations of the city. Work, her apartment, the best burger shop in the city, and an arcade. She had some free time on her hands, why not go play a game or two? The girl hurried over to the arcade, which was filled to the brim with tons of different games. Which to play first?..

Chiaki constantly played games in her free time. She basically was paying the arcades bills. Being there she only really played solo games. Like her favorites, shooting games. Sometimes when she looked over to see an unused gun always made her feel a little bad. She just wasn't that good at making friends, huh? Today maybe things could be different for once. Maybe that unused gun she always saw would be used by a person. Perhaps even a new friend?

Pink hair swayed as she turned her head to the entrance in hopes there would be someone there. Fortunately there was. A kind looking girl. That was always nice. She slowly moved to the girl trying to look awkward while doing such. Nervously the gamer forced out words not totally sure how to compose these words.

"Excuse me would you like to play a game with me? I'll pay for your turn."
