âWho knows? Iâm currently trying to figure out if I can seduce a Montague into giving me a job now that thatâs an actual possibility. Iâm havingâŠmixed success so far.â That seemed the best way to describe her slow moving on again off again thing with Phi. âBut in the meantime, you know Iâm always down to lose to you at a shooting game at least for a little while.â
âWhat a devious little plan,â they smirked.  âI love it. Make sure to invite me to your claim ceremony when that happens and Iâll gift you your first working desktop,â they teased.  âAw, thatâs so sweet of you. I mean, Iâll sweep the floor with you, but I appreciate that you at least try. A new game was released yesterday that I need to pick up. We can try it out later if youâre free and not working.â
theposeycapulet:
Posey nods in agreement, her sleeve being pushed down commenting easily ââŠIt is, heâs done like everyoneâs designation tattoos.. Itâs just nice everyone else is seeing his talent too.. Makes getting a tattoo on the fly harder though..â Her head tilts slightly, mentally debating what sheâd want to get done there in time before shrugging âI kind of like the pain of tattoos⊠As weird as that sounds.. Reminds me a little of scarificationâŠâShe rubs at her hip absentmindedly before teasing Ami quietly ââŠIf youâre ever planning a trip to the beach or the pool.. or even a hot-tub party, then shoot me a message and Iâll show you my hip one for real.Â
âWell, I definitely donât want to burden him but heâll definitely be my first choice,â they laughed, finger-gunning the redhead.  âAnd Iâll also be sure that I call ahead to schedule an appointment. Hopefully name-dropping will make him like me a little more,â they added with a grin.  âDude, I totally get it. Itâs totally a thing that people are super into. No judgment,â they smirked, winking at Posey. Theyâve definitely had some encounters with people who were certainly into that sort of thing and Ami was more than happy to oblige to submissivesâ desires.  âSummer is coming, so Iâll hit you up when I go swimming or sun-bathing,â they laughed.  âOr we can hang out again and Iâll wear a low-cut shirt.â
jim-ofalltrades-montague:
âNo, I said âwhich oneâ. If Iâm so old, how come youâre the deaf one? I have two computers of my own, three Iâm repairing, and one that Iâm trying to refurb for my own curiosity. So which one are you asking about? Canât talk about the systems info without knowing that.â
Amelia rolled their eyes, both annoyed and a little impressed that this guy might actually have some knowledge with computers.  âIt hardly matters which one. Just the very fact that you even have a single computer that runs on such an old program is absurd.â
analyticalcapulet:
Mel grinned listening to Amiâs excitement, although it dimmed slightly at the second question. She tried to fake a casual shrug as she responded. âSame story. As soon as I get hired somewhere else. Iâve had occasional freelance site building gigs recently, but nothing permanent. Til then Iâve got a paycheck and a staff discount, so it could be worse. Not by much, but it could be.â
Ami sighed with a shrug, wanting to help Mel. Theyâd personally hire her to help around with the gaming and streaming or video editing stuff, but Ami was just barely financially getting by on their own.  âWell, until you are free from that awful job and those stuck-up customers, I will be here to support you and give you all the love you need,â they teased.  âOr if you just want to shoot something, I have several games that will allow you to do so.â
terran-montague:
Terran looked up at the person laying on the bench close by. He hadnât even noticed them and wasnât expecting anyone to answer really. âThen they should just get rid of tests and just teach us stuff. I hate tests ad finals and exams. All they do is raise my anxiety.â
âOof, that does sound super rough. Sorry to hear that,â they replied, still laying on the bench.  âIs there, like tutoring or TAs you can talk to or something? Or I guess you could just revolt and not take any of those tests.â
terran-montague:
Terran laid in the grass in the park with his books for school open around him and his sketch book as well. He was running through a new sketch he was working on while he was studying for finals. He was beyond stressed about them seeing as he was never a good test taker. He had ridiculous test anxiety and it was getting to him now. He groaned and hit his head off of the ground for a moment. âWhy did I even enroll into school?â
Ami was just laying on the bench close-by, their arm over their face as they enjoyed the feel of the sun hit their skin. They didnât even notice that someone had been laying in the grass just on the other side until he spoke.  âBecause education is important. Stay in school, kids,â Amelia replied without missing a beat and a small smirk on their lips.
theposeycapulet:
Posey shakes her head laughing slightly before rolling down her sleeve before rummaging in her bag, pulling out her wallet and one of Willâs cards handing it over to the Dominant with a small smile. âJust tell him that Posey sent you and heâll probably get you in near straight awayâ before following the line that Ami makes with her finger, mouth moving in a soft âOâ of understanding asking curiously ââŠSo does it hurt getting it there? Like right on the bone?â I nearly got one there, but ended up getting my hip done instead..â
Amelia took the card and read it over. Will Capulet, tattoo artist. Cool. Theyâd definitely have to make an appointment with him to add some more ink.  âThanks for the hook up, Posey,â they grinned.  âItâs cool that the Capulets basically have their personal tattoo artist,â they continued with a grin. They shrugged with a small laugh.  âIt definitely wasnât painless. The one I have now isnât super elaborate because of the pain, but I wanted to add to it to spread out the pain,â they laughed, realizing how masochistic that must have sounded.  âHip bone is pretty cool too though. I just love all sorts of creative tattoos.â
averymontague:
Avery laughed at the comment, pulling her hands away from the strings and looking down at them with a little shrug, âIt wasnât all that bad. Using a pick helped a lot. But sometimes it just gets in the way so itâs easier without.â She explained, watching for a moment and smiling, âThank you. And yeah..I think itâs worth it. I love playing- itâs probably my favorite thing in the world.â Her expression turned a bit bashful at the question and she hummed softly, âI do, butâŠtheyâre for me. Forever to be tucked away in notebooks or just my head.â
âWell, I also, like, have no skills or talent in playing any sort of musical instrument,â they laughed.  âIâm half-decent at karaoke though so I hope that counts for something.â Their phone vibrated briefly, causing them to glance down before turning their attention back at the person before them.  âNot that Iâm forcing you to share your deepest thoughts and sentiments with me, but sharing is caring,â they joked.  âAnd while I also know next to nothing about the music business, I say you have a great chance at that industry.â
jim-ofalltrades-montague:
He was half tempted to lie. But the fact that she believed he was such a luddite made the truth eight times funnier, and he was contrary enough to use it at the moment. So he smirked, shaved off a little more wood, and replied, âWhich one?â
They narrowed their eyes at him, a curious smirk on their face.  âWow, are you so old that sarcasm just wasnât invented so you have a hard time hearing it?â they smirked.  âBut in case you were serious, Windows XP doesnât really run that well anymore, buddy.â
analyticalcapulet:
âWhat can I say? Thereâs a reason I find that kind of support invigorating.â She couldnât take it as an insult because Amelia was too right to bother with that. Might as well wear it with pride. âOr, you make enough for two and then we conquer the world with our ability to be six times as productive as anyone else.â
âMy dude, we could totally conquer the world. We could get so much done. You could shove all hideous ties down those pushy customersâ throats and I can actually stream my games and upgrade all my computers 24/7. Iâd be able to finish so many games,â they said, sighing wistfully.  âBut for reals, girl, when are you going to quit that awful job?â
âheadcanons
002 . Amelia has played games for nearly ten years now and has actually managed to make a career from this hobby.
theposeycapulet:
âBetter than the wheel or the toaster?â Posey canât help but tease back quietly, shaking the Dominants hand who she now knows as Ami. Smiling brightly she nods. âThatâs me.. Thereâs a few of us around.. And by few? I mean a lot.. No doubt youâll meet all of us in time, especially with all the events and Summer coming up.. We tend to be more social in Summer.â
Her gaze flicks up to the sword bar in Amiâs ear commenting âI like it, I donât think Iâve seen one like it actually.. And thatâs saying a lot cause Iâve seen dozens of piercings in my timeâŠâ Her own arm pushes her sleeve up exposing her wrist and the intricate tattoo work done there, almost henna like with delicate needlework spiralling its way up her arm, but the star clear in the centre of her wrist, showing Ami.. âIf you like tattooes, you should come meet my brother Will. Heâs a tattoo artist.. And a good one. Heâs done all off mine.. I have my lower arm sleeve, though itâll end up going up my arm, my shoulder blade, my ankle, and my hip.. Weâre drawing up my rib one soon.. Most of the Capuletâs in the family with tattoos got them done by Will.. You should come to the studio.. See his work, or talk to him about what youâd like⊠And more tattoos in general is actually a fantastic idea⊠Thatâs why I got my ankle done. Literally woke up and was just âI want a tattoo today.. and well.. It happened.. Where is your hidden tattoo if you donât mind me asking?â
âUh definitely better than the wheel or the toaster. Who needs vehicles or burnt bread,â they joked.  âOh, gosh, is everyone a Capulet?â they laughed.  âWell, if theyâre all as nice as you, then Iâm sure Iâll make friends with them all.â
âOh thanks! Iâm pretty proud of it. Wanted something a little more creative,â they beamed. Their eyes were glued to the tattoo that Posey showed on her arm. The details were intricate but beautiful.  âI love that! Your brotherâs work looks amazing and Iâm already sold. How do I find this other Capulet?â they joked.  âAh, well itâs just, like, across here,â they said, their finger marking a line down between their chest.  âI get to show it off more when itâs warm out, ya know.â

âDidnât say I was hating on tech either. Just that I like to mix shit up once in a while. Believe it or not, I even have a computer in my place.â Actually he had several in various phases of deconstruction and refurbishment, but again? Who was counting.Â
âMmmhm, sure whatever you say olâ man,â they chuckled, still teasing the guy. However, they had to admit they were impressed that he said he owned a computer.  âIs it from the early 2000s and does it run on Windows XP?â
analyticalcapulet:
âRight? Sometimes I hang out there just so I can soak up that atmosphere of petty productivity, itâs very motivating.â Since she often felt motivated by that kind of petty productivity, it worked. âI know right? But until you perfect that serum that gets me out of needing sleep, I guess Iâm stuck crashing periodically.â
âGirl, we both know you have enough pettiness to fuel that coffee shop,â they laughed, teasing their friend.  âHell, your job alone is plenty fuel for that.â Ami locked their phone, placing it on the table and ran their hands through their purple and pink hair.  âSorry. Iâm also trying to find that serum. Iâll fight you for it,â they smirked.
London Fog // Nathaniel & Ami
Outside of their own apartment, Ami liked to frequent the coffee shop that was a few blocks from where they lived. They were there every week a few days at time. There was just something so welcoming about the place, plus their drinks were really good. On this particular day, Ami was setting up their laptop at the corner of the coffee shop to edit some videos. They went up to the counter to order a drink.  âHey, Nathaniel!â they beamed, giving him a wave.  âCan I get a London Fog?â they waited to pay and bobbed their head along to whatever music was playing.  âHowâs your day been so far?â

âSince youâre the one who decided to comment on my hobby, I donât think Iâm the dick here.â Ok. Yes he was. But she was fully capable of moving on whenever she felt like so it didnât seem to matter to him one way or the other.
Ami shrugged, half-acknowledging that they might have started this mini feud.  âJust saying. Donât hate on tech because itâs gonna take over the world one day.â They shifted on their feet, clearing their throat and glancing at the dudeâs outstretched legs.
