rei leaves the shop first, and you watch as yu grabs napkins. he turns last second.

then, the door chime twinkles as he opens the door and closes it.
as soon as the two leave, yujin bursts out.

you sigh.

from the first day you met ahn keonho you should've known that he was all kinds of stupid.
always stupidly late. stupidly messy. stupidly boyish. stupidly good-looking in a way that irked you.
most importantly, though, was that he was stupidly everything you weren't. and as such, you should've expected him to do stupid things.
you just never expected he'd do them like this. or that he'd be this stupid.

your voice barely carries over the chatter of students surrounding you on the outdoor field, the festival music, and the shrill sound of feedback through the speakers. and even if he had heard your voice, he still wouldn't have listened. he wasn't listening now either.

collective gasps and echoes of shock ripple throughout the school courtyard as people stop focusing on the festival and instead turn their heads upwards, fingers pointing, teachers shouting from somewhere behind you, ignored completely.
