The ice warning cartoon is a true classic that has been shown on the highly popular public service kids’ program Pikku Kakkonen since 1986. Pikku Kakkonen is a true classic too, the Finnish public service broadcast company YLE has run it since the 70′s on their channel 2, hence the name, “Little Two” (as you see, the teddy bear that got saved from the ice is a part of the logo of the show, a number two).

It has sometimes been debated whether to run the warning cartoon or not since many kids find it really scary but it is known to have saved at least one life.
