"You know, when I first moved in, he didn't know what to make of me, if you can imagine that. But I hoped we could be friends, so every day at teatime, I'd prepare a tray and I'd ask him how his latest case was progressing."

enola holmes 3 did make me feel wildly cheated because himesh patel is truly a perfect watson. the platonic ideal of a watson. but he doesn't say even one word to sherlock for the entire movie and i'm not even exaggerating. the only scene they have together is in a flashback. WHY!!!!!!!!!
Himish Patel could be literally such a lore heavy Watson. We been cheated!!!
Inktober No. 26 - 'I never knew daylight could be so violent'
Sherlock knows daylight can be overwhelmingly violent because he is autistic and has sensory issues. It takes a lot of time, silence and darkness to recover from a sensory overload.
My first work in the 'Sherlock & Co' universe.
From the @whumptober promptlist for Inktober 2024.

(also Crowley looks so hot in this whole scene. I love the curls. David Tennant should absolutely consider keeping long curls)
Me reading an old men yaoi fanfic on ao3 at 3am with the same two gay men(?) falling deeply in love for the 7300th time in a [redacted]th AU.
Iâm sorry but I did not sit through tara maclay bleeding out over willow to have people say that old married crowley and aziraphale holding hands in their cottage garden whilst crowleyâs wedding ring glints in the starlight and he says I have everything Iâve ever wanted is bury your gays
nothing legolasts forever
""" i can't believe crowley chose the universe over aziraphale""" you can't believe that the SERPENT OF EDEN chose to give humanity free will??? AGAIN???
If the world was ending, you'd come over right?
You'd come over and you'd stay the night
Would you love me for the hell of it?
All our fears would be irrelevant?
If the world was ending, you'd come over right?
The sky be falling while I hold you tight?
No, there wouldn't be a reason why
We would even have to say goodbye
If the world was ending...
You'd come over, you'd come over right..?
I want to share this with my bestie but them and their husband just moved and are packing boxes.
I just. They survive the destruction of the book of life. They survive the end of the universe. The universe ends and they persist and become unified in the backbone of a new one. And even when God says they will vanish too they persist again and again and again. Every lifetime is theirs. Every story. They have so many blank pages to fill. I have a hard time viewing that as a death. And even if it was. They got to choose what they wanted. They got to make a world and an existence for the people they loved without having to manage the weight of either side pulling on each other. They were truly given free will and they used that to give that gift to others. And I just. Can't be sad about that.
This is my Roman Empire tbh

The silliest thing I find about this whole "they only got 30 years together in the end with no memories of their shared history so what was the point" is that EVERYONE THINKS THEY ONLY MET EACH OTHER IN THIS ONE SINGULAR LIFETIME REALITY instead of my immediate thought that as its architects, Aziraphale and Crowley were wound so deep into the fabric of the new universe that there is a version of them finding each other and falling in love every single generation for billions and billions of years??????
A Roman version and a French Revolution version and a WWII version and ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND---
For goodness sake the song that plays over this version of them finding and falling in love is "Time After Time"! THE IMPLICATION IS THAT THEY WILL ALWAYS FIND EACH OTHER!!!!!! ***ALWAYS*** IN EVERY LIFETIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This!!! This is what I gathered from the bar scene that their love is woven into the very fabric of this universe. Their love is why this non-three-card game with a stacked deck universe exists!!!
I supremely enjoyed the good omens finale, but Iâm seeing a lot of people say they didnât?
And I kind of get it but also I feel like the whole point of the ending they did was giving them what they, specifically Crowley always wanted for them.
A chance to live life to the fullest without anyone tugging the strings or threatening them with heavens wrath or hellfire. Just the chance for people to be people and love each other.
And then they got the chance to do just that!
Things are different and they are changed and going back to the way things were wouldnât make anyone happier.
At the end of the day they found each other and they loved each other. Thatâs all I really wanted from the show, and even though itâs different it definitely wasnât bad.
This. All of this.
Crowley & his plants - He had heard about talking to plants in the early seventies, on Radio Four, and thought it was an excellent idea
