Backstory:

(Inspired by some of canon, but not completely canon to league of legends)

To stop the Rune wars, when the arcane was rampant and destroying civilizations, a group of scientists and alchemists contained the essence of the arcane into a kind of hexcore. And to destroy it chose a random girl to put it in to destroy the arcane and its vessel (the girl). But it sent her to a magical dimension in stasis for hundreds of years to protect itself, only to bring her back when it sensed some fragment of its power growing and in the world. The arcane wants to absorb the new hexcore and level the city as revenge for what its ancestors did but I partner with Silco (after he takes control from Vander, only there is no shimmer involved) and threaten Piltover for sovereignty since I still feel allegiance to the Undercity because it was once my home.

My dream just explained how to shift. In it, there was this portal and all you had to do was stand on it and think of where you wanted to go and you'd be there.

A bunch of kids did it no problem but me and someone older than me were having trouble and a kid told us, "you're thinking about GOING there aren't you? The act of getting there? How you're going to get there? That's not what you're supposed to do, the portal (your subconscious) does that, you're just supposed to focus on where you're going and it will do the rest."

I was intrigued by your Arcane mini-shift story, do you mind sharing others that you might’ve had? It’s very motivating to read shifting stories :3. Also I’d like to be friends,,, 🪷

Of course! I’ll share my first time minishifting!

The very first time I shifted was after a year of attempting, I was so mad I hadn't shifted that I cussed out the universe and claimed I was owed a shift and I was going to get it no matter what (for clarification I know YOU personally make you shift, but when you think it’s the universe and direct all your anger at a being separate from yourself it helps, in my case at least it did once). When I went to sleep I dreamed I was in the hospital and felt sleepy so I took a nap in a hospital bed, when I woke up I was somewhere else entirely and it felt completely real, I felt someone shaking me awake frantically and heard fighting in the background and felt water splash on my face as if from the ocean, even though I refused to open my eyes I saw warm lights beyond in the distance as if from fire. I was so scared I closed my eyes even more tightly and thought of wanting to go back and that's when I woke up back in my dream in the hospital.

(Also side note, I’d love to be friends! I love making more shifting friends! As long as you’re 18+ ofc, you’re welcome to dm me, I love talking about drs and getting to know people better so don’t be shy! ^^)

My minishifting experience going to Arcane

This was actually a year ago but I'm still not over it cause it was one of the first times I was able to see my surroundings in a shift. I was half asleep and imagining turned into visualizing and it became so vivid I gained full awareness, it was gradual at first starting to really see the wall in front of me and desk beside me, and then I was hit with all my senses. I was in Silco's office sitting on his lap for some reason?? I could feel his leg underneath me and feel him breathing behind me and to this day is the most comfortable and safe I've felt around a man. I love him so much. It was so relaxing even though I have no context about our relationship status in this specific reality cause I’m pretty sure it wasn’t my intended dr, cause we’re just friends with hidden feelings in my arcane dr. Anyway when it hit me I actually shifted I got scared and felt weird about not being where I intended and willed myself back (still regret that decision btw)

My name is Banan. I am from in gaza 🇵🇸. I will tell you my story with a heart full of worry and sadness, but full of hope. My story is the story of my family, consisting of 6 boys and 3 girls, but two of them got married. My family and I lived in complete comfort. We have a simple house that accommodates us, we have the most beautiful clothes, and we eat the best foods. However, my father and mother suffer from chronic diseases. I finished high school with a score of 90%, thank God Almighty. I started university and I was happy and joyful to start university in the field that I love. I paid my fees that I collected with difficulty. I only studied for two weeks🤍

. Then came the day that prevented me from completing my joy, broke me, disappointed me, and completely extinguished my life and my family’s. October 7. A new story began, and unfortunately I did not complete my studies😓💔.The journey of displacement from one place to another began. The bombing was above us and we spent it crying and fearing a lot for our children😥😥. We did not find safety in any of them. The second day of the war, we received the shocking and painful news for our hearts and my father’s heart more because he built it with his hardship and fatigue😓💔. It was the bombing of our house in which we lived for twenty years and we have many memories that we will not forget.

On 10/13/2023, we were forced to move to the Deir al-Balah area in the middle of the Gaza Strip. This area will remain in our memory because we found hardship, fatigue and intense sadness there. We live in a tent in the intense heat that is filled with small insects and disgusting mice that no one can bear to live in a place like this😥💔

.We suffer from the lack of water and the high prices that are beyond imagination, and other than that, the children of my family who lived their childhood in tents, war, and toilets and lined up in long lines to get bread. This is their childhood, and they are supposed to be in school, entertained and happy, and have all their needs that are lacking now😓💔

. I hope that you will help me and my family in these difficult circumstances and complete my studies at the university.💔
