as we all know, today (9/20) is best boi orugio's bday. shirahama writes that he'd be happiest receiving "that big favorite of his", which as we can see is booze. she also notes that he'd probably enjoy it thoroughly after work while watching the moon (so romantic)

a few notes below!

not gonna lie seeing orugio having to forego celebrating his bday on the day of because of work actually made me real sad

in japanese, alcohol is pronounced "sake" while fish is pronounced "sakana". orugio stopped at the "sa" syllable when replying to tetia, so he was still able to fix what he "wanted" to fish

i suppose in wha universe it's considered better for child-rearing to avoid mentions of adult things like drinking alcohol, since qifrey and orugio also avoid talking about booze in front of the kids in kitchen of witch hat

if it's hard to read the small text at the bottom left, it's a little qifrey holding a wine bottle with a ribbon saying "Just kidding. I also prepared some alcohol that goes well with fish!"

honestly my theory that orugio is more or less an avatar for shirahama grew stronger with this comic considering she posted it at frickin' 4am in japan time.
