the comments under the post about trinity's thought process regarding her distrust of langdon are just so 😭 begging people to unlearn internalized misogyny cause jfc this is depressing. if I tried to unpack everything wrong with this I'd be here all night, but my biggest concern in this is the statement "her department can't actually get someone arrested on vibes.' what if I said being arrested was not the job of the Pitt ER, but being mandated reporters sure are - and narratively, the Pitt let Robby and Kiara absolutely fail that girl. If a caregiver discloses concerns of abuse that is an immediate mandated report. and I can't understand why the pitt ignored that to reveal trinity's trauma. It honestly feels pretty disgusting when I think about it in these terms.

When I think about how those scenes played out and NW infamous "somebody bring me another woman to yell at" & "if you're looking for better writing, there isn't" quote, the writing just feels ickier (I can't ignore the misogyny alarm bells going off in my head)!
All of this to say now I am planning to keep watching the pitt because I very much love all of the women on the show, but I don't think I really like or am that interested in where robby's story is going to go in s3.
