Honey Birdette ‘Penny Lane’ Set

‘Penny Lane’ is classic Honey Birdette- this is what the brand does best. She is an aesthetically pleasing, yet completely functional, three-piece set. A pale beige base with a polkadot overlay and lace trim, this simple palette is accentuated with red bows and intricate lace-up side details. The bra offers good coverage, not heavily padded, but underwired and moulded. It offers amazing support to be honest, and creates one of my favorite shapes- full and rounded, yet still natural (not gravity-defying, orb-like). I adore the asymmetric thong (which is a simple comfortable string) for dash of quirk. Something HB does exceptionally well is a suspender. For many labels, a suspender is often an afterthought- a mere addition to the bra and bottom. This wide, boned suspender the offers cinch for waist and hips and security for stockings, particularly with the wide garters. Essentially, I like that Honey Birdette styles are designed as a full look (as well as sold so). ‘Penny Lane’ is also in a much demanded and high-selling colorway, with most ‘sexy’ lingerie demanded in black and red. This strong, much-loved ‘dark pin-up’ vibe is also massively successful in the market. ‘Penny Lane’ is a classic, timeless vixen with just enough cute to make her the Bad Girl Next Door. This set could just as easily be worn under jeans and a T-shirt as it could a killer session pencil dress.
