..And some older, simpler Photoshop work. Did these a few years ago for class. I didn't draw the guitar man however, the color is my work.

I'm loving Adobe Illustrator. Just took a class on it, wow did it open my eyes. These are simple, I know, but I thought I'd share some of my doodles.

My laptop lineage; short and sweet.

This game taught me how to type. No question, it was the first video game I immersed myself in. I would play this game for hours on our old Windows 98 machine. Good times.

Probably my favorite video-game commercial ever made.

I stumbled upon this via You Tube. It's a short video showing the Windows 3.1 startup sequence. Watching it brings back memories of the first computers I used. It's crazy how far we have come.

Remember When?
I present to you my family's first DVD player. Isn't she sexy? I remember how cool this thing was, it even said HELLO! It sure is interesting to see how fast technology changes. Today's Blu Ray players are half the size, packing more than twice the graphic power.

Study Habits
For roughly the last four hours, I have been catching up on my anthropology readings for the quiz that happens to be this evening. Every-time I finish one, this song comes to mind. It feels, for me at least, like accomplishment put in a hip-hop format. A format, I like to think, invites procrastinators, such as myself, with open arms. Thank you Jay-Z for making me feel studious.

"Old-school" Music
First off, let me say that vinyl records are the business. By business I mean; awesome, great, amazing, fun, beautiful. This was the way to listen to music during the ages of classic rock, jazz, disco, butt-rock and quite a few more. Many audiophiles believe it is the best way to listen to music. Either way, they are a great source of band art. Sometimes, you have to get your fingers into the music your listening to, digital just doesn't cut it.
Here is a wiki on it! The Vinyl Record

Throw-Back Thursday!
This, my friends, is the pilot webisode of Red Vs. Blue. RVB is a Halo satire that uses actual game play, with voice-overs, to make fun of common in-game situations. This was the first series I had seen using a media type such as this, which I found very intriguing (and humorous).
If you want to know more about Red Vs. Blue, or its producers this is a good read: How Rooster Teeth Won the Internet With Red Vs. Blue

For me, the future of civilization has always been an intriguing topic. I truly enjoy seeing other people's perceptions of where we might end up. The picture is of Neo Seoul, a futuristic mega-city, from the movie Cloud Atlas. If you have never seen this movie, go see it. It is truly an amazing story, filled with some of the best digital graphic work I have ever seen.
