…Listen to this. I tell myself this a lot when I’m getting the ‘wish you were here’ vibes, so hopefully, this will help someone too. Now I love science- so you all know the multiverse theory, right? Let’s imagine that for a minute. Near infinite universes out there. Tons of possibilities.
There’s going to be one where you are your f/o’s ‘f/o’. Where they feel the same as you, just on the other side. One where they own their own blog, or maybe they gush about you in journals, or they’ll be the ones wondering if you would really love them back. They understand how you’re feeling, and in this sense, you’re really together. Like you’re on two sides of the same mirror.
There’s another you’re with your f/o. There’s already one where you and them exist together, and are happy, living out your lives together. It’s one where fate decided to be kind, and everything here, that you’ve made? The stories you tell now? They’re the reality for you two, somewhere out there.
Then there’s this universe. There’s you, even despite the distance you can’t even fathom, loving them anyways. You may not necessarily be there, but it’s still happening somewhere. This whole thing you’re doing is just like your link to it. That’s how you can know they love you, because somewhere out there, they always have.
If you have multiple f/os? It’s true for every single one of them.
Secret f/os? You’re they’re little secret too.
Probably a silly thought. But maybe it helps closing the distance and the forlorn feeling. If it does, then read that above section over again and again, as many times as you need to.
There’s a place out there where your f/o(s) love you so much. There’s another place where they’re in the same boat as you, and your love for one another is so strong it knows no boundaries.
So if you’re ever wishing they were here, then just know that in a way, they are. And in another place, they’re also wishing the exact same thing.
