[ * "why do you put 'Officially' in quotes when talking about flag usage?" Because I don't think that any large corporations / businesses / brands / companies use of the flag is "more official" than anyone else's is. Especially small businesses or individual artists. This is the best way I've found to convey that idea. ]

Sadly, I missed the actual anniversary date due to my irl life being much more important right than anything online (if you've seen the news, you know) but happy 6 years anniversary to the original proposal!

(As i've previously mentioned- this was an idea of mine since at least early March of 2019, but this is the "official" birthday most people recognize. The original phone I had stored my very first drafts and notes on is long, long, long gone by now with no hope of recovery due to it shattering and being recycled. Just a fun fact!)

Sims 4 released a free content update featuring the flag 💚🤍💙💜

The five-stripe version of the first variant of the flag has been included in the Sims 4! Thanks so much to my followers for telling me about this while I've been disengaged from social media.

They also seems to have added the design made by ask-pride-color-schemes!

Currently there is no 7-stripe variant of the flag officially in game, but it seems like they may add it later if requested? (Multiple flags seem to have been given up to 3 different designs to pick from which is wonderful since many people use multiple variants at the same time!)

In the meantime there seem to be multiple people who have modded in the 7-stripe design into the game for those who prefer it, like this flag pole mod from sentimental-sims

Last June, Dead by Daylight added a swathe of new pride flag charms (already having a basic rainbow and progress rainbow available from previous years), and the MLM flag was included! C:

I noticed a University item that's a set of three animating flags, and figured out how to edit it so my Sims can finally have a Pride flag pole outside their homes! It's meant to be put on a wall, but can be placed on columns with moveobjects on.

I originally made this in late 2020, re-uploading May 2024 with a smaller file option now that I'm on SimFileShare. Happy Pride!!

.PSDs can be opened in some free programs, like Krita.

For a smaller file size, I made a Rainbow-Only file option, or you can edit the .package file in Sims4Studio to only have the flags you'd like to use (deleting the DST Image and Build Buy Thumbnail images for what you're not keeping really helps, too!)

I don't know if anyone showed this before to you, but there are some roblox games that used your flag: Astro Renaissance, Royale High, Adopt me, and ugc creators who uploaded pride items with your flag!!

Did you expect to your flag to be so popular?? How do you feel about it?

I didn't expect it to be as widespread as it now. It's cool to see it go as far as it has though. The fact that it wasn't just made by me and is instead an amalgamation of many other people's input, help, and ideas might be why it's gone as far as it has? Just my theory though.

At this point I think I'm mostly happy about it. The amount of people who've come to me sharing how it makes them feel seen, or even that it has helped them accept/step into their identity with less fear has been a real gift. I really hope that it can continue to be a positive symbol for so many people.
