In this video Rick Santorum explains how he feels about marriage. He states that just because something is wrong or sinful does not mean we should make it illegal. I agree with him 100 percent!

This video shows pictures of a gay couple who married on 10/25/08. They made this video to in rememberance of a gay teen who commited sucide because he was made fun of for being gay. Just because people are gay, doesn't mean we should make fun of them. A gay couple wanting to get married shouldn't matter to anyone except those people. We shouldn't bully them or tell them they aren't allowed. They are people too and they deserve civil rights.

This video has a man who explains why we should fight for gay marriage. I agree with him because gays should deserve the right too.

One woman states "I wasn't sure if I should be true to myself or live a life full of lies." There are people out there who live lies so people except them and that's just not right.

Once he went back, they wrote to each other then one day his boyfriend came back to America to be with him. They've been together ever since! If they can make a life changing move, why can't they get married?

If you notice, they both have a huge smile on their face the entire time because they are finally going to get married. We shouldn't take away this happiness from anyone, we shouldn't tell same sex couples they can't get married.

This picture shows two women who are clearly in love. People can tell them they aren't allowed to be together but they're still going to love each other. "We're not going away," shows that no matter how much people don't want them to be together they will be and no one will stop them.

In this video a man talks about a woman and her partner and their three children. One woman was rushed to the emergency room because she was dying and her partner and their three children were banned from the room. This left the woman to die alone. The two women had been together for 18 years but because they were gay they were not allowed to spend their last few hours together. This is not right. The hospital discriminated against the gay community which is not right!

This video shows peoples thoughts and opinions about gay marriage days before it became legal in New York. I agree with the woman who says that we should all have the same rights. Gays deserve just as much rights as straights.

Studies from 1981 to 1994, including 260 children reared by either heterosexual mothers or same-sex mothers after divorce, found no differences in intelligence, type or prevalence of psychiatric disorders, self-esteem, well-being, peer relationships, couple relationships, or parental stress. It also states that children with divorced parents are more likely to have problems then children with same sex parents. For all those people who say gay marriage is fine as long as they don't have children, the children are not harmed at all by having two parents of the same sex.

They have a point, it doesn't matter if you're black or white, gay or straight, if two people are in love they should be able to get married. Their love shouldn't be illegal.

This webbsite states that Obama believes that marriage is between a man and a women. However, he has clearly stated that he supports the states making their own decisions regarding same sex couples. He has also opposes constituional amendments defining marriage as between a man and a woman.

This website shows news on gay marriage. Recently in Austrilia's Labor Party has been fighting off an attempt to legalize same sex marriage. Most of the voters support marriage equality. I agree with these voters because everyone deserves equal rights no matter what.
