This is my favorite gay af self-cleansing ritual:

Material:

Bath

Olive oil

Incense

Appropriate Candles

Cleansing stones

Pot

Dildo

Fill the tub, make it hot, light the candles, turn off the lights, light the incense, toss the good rocks and olive oil in the tub, clear the space however you do, hit the bowl, get in the tub, fuck yourself senseless (NO PORN, just really feel yourself), get off, meditate in the tub until it cools off, cleanse the space when you get out and drain all the bad juju with the water.

how is that Mallorie Vaudoise ancestor book? 🤔

I have not read it yet. I just heard two interviews with the author that I found really thoughtful. I had never really been into ancestor work because many of mine were assholes, until I took a workshop last year where the idea of “calling out” your asshole ancestors came up. I really like the idea in that book of honoring not just blood ancestors but also affinity ancestors. So many of us have chosen families that have stronger bonds than blood and I think there is a lot of beauty in honoring that. It seems like a book that can be applied to a lot of different traditions and isn’t so “this is how it has to be” and I appreciate that.
