Naturism is the GREEN choice. Fewer clothes mean less environmental impact; less detergent; less waste of natural resources and less hassle. We wake and are ready for the day.
Although Spring is just around the corner, it's started snowing here today, showing us that Winter hasn't quite finished yet!
Even when it's rather wintery, @naturistgirl Jane and I have found that being naked in the snow and exposed to the natural elements is indeed possible (for a short while at least).
A naked walk in the snow feels so incredibly invigorating and free.....it's also a lot of fun too. :-)
@naturistgirl
Love taking these naked photos in the snow :-)
Naked Pancakes - Crempog Noethlymun
Pancakes are associated in Wales with Dydd Mawrth Ynyd) Shrove Tuesday). This is a Christian tradition marking the start of the Lenten fast. I am Jewish however and I don't have that tradition. My Christian husband however, loves this tradition and as I love making pancakes, and that is what we did this 'Pancake Day' as some in the UK call it these days.
This traditional Celtic food however goes back at least to medieval times or earlier. Traditional Welsh crempog were prepared with a batter of flour, eggs, buttermilk, sugar, salt and butter, together with a raising agent (sometimes yeast, sometimes soda). They would have been cooked on a hot slab or bakestone as small, thickish cakes and served with honey or butter.
Mine, today were made with a batter of eggs, flour, milk and salt. I cooked them in the only frying pan I have in my kitchen, sizzling hot to be kept warm in the oven before serving. A ladleful of batter is sufficient to make one good size pancake. Today I made 10. In the past with a large family to feed it has been many many more! Dutiful mothers like myself spend a long time at the stove with pancakes being eaten by hungry children's mouths (and husband's) almost the second they leave the pan. Happy Memories!
I'm Jewish. My frying pan is heavy and I DON'T toss pancakes (it would probably end in disaster!). A minute or so until they unstick and then I flip them with a turner to do the other side. Nobody has ever been able to tell me why you get brown spots on one side but not on the other!
So when this one's ready, go on, why don't you have it? I've got plenty more left to make. Pancakes are perfectly kosher (and milchig). I eat mine with grated cheese but also with lemon and demerara sugar (Tate and Lyle's because it's kosher). My husband eats his spread with butter and jam. I cook naked because...well you know by now that I live my life this way.
Well there we are. Happy Shrove Tuesday, Mardi Gras or Pancake Day everyone. If you enjoyed this blog post and are a naturist, please share, comment or say hi. This is not a sexual blog however so don't expect me to respond to any cheeky sexual remarks (naughty!). I have another sexually themed blog where you can say hi if you wish instead.
All photos are original (as they are throughout this blog). I do not repost the content of others. All photos remain my husband's copyright; please do not re-use (by downloading and reposting) without his permission, thanks.
Much love to you all :-)

Ever found yourself, at 64, disrobing in a snowdrift for the sake of art and online engagement? Neither had I, until this unlikely chapter began. As an Oxford Greek-enthusiast, ex-broadcaster, feminist, arts manager, teacher, lecturer, and writer, I’d always thought my most public moments involved a lectern, a not so strategically placed prop and a determined photographer who thinks a little frostbite “adds character”.
Turns out, after decades spent analysing Homer and curating exhibitions, the most surprising Odyssey is stripping off mature erotic modelling—where arousal and artistic expression are, apparently, happy bedfellows. Who’d have guessed my greatest lesson in adaptability would involve undressing in the snow (not exactly Mount Olympus, but you work with what you’ve got) for a cheeky bit of seasonal content?
Life’s twists are nothing if not chilly, but if you can’t laugh at yourself—preferably while shivering for the camera, nipples erect — then when can you? Here’s to embracing unexpected roles, goosebumps and all.
