Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've been on Tumblr and would love to come back and start posting again. As I come back, I was thinking about potentially updating my blog with a new name, icon, and cover photos. So far, the options I was thinking of for names are:
1.) Afternoon-tea-with-naotmaa
2.) Keep it the same
3.) teatime.at.tsarskayaselo
4.) tsarkayaselo.tea
5.) Suggestions (I kind of like the idea of having tsarskaya selo in the name as well as the first option).
I was also leaning towards picking a name and then an icon and cover photo. I am also going to be playing around with the background, color themes, and fonts. I've had this blog for about 7 or 8 years, so it's definitely time for an update.
In terms of content, I will be posting some more art, Slavic culture, history relating to the Romanovs and culture during that time, as well as other monarchs throughout history. I will hopefully be planning a few series, so keep an eye out for those. Please feel free to reach out to me about things you would like me to post about and maybe do a series about.
Thanks for sticking with me! I really appreciate it!

The Children of Emperor Nicholas II.
This is interesting because it's not a real photo, it's a composite made from cutting Nicholas and Alexandra out of one of the 1913 family photos. If you look closely at Anastasia's hair, you can see where they cut her out and moved the Anastasia-Alexei-Tatiana grouping over to join Maria and Olga.

Romanov Children's Similarities
Tatiana and Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova
Tatiana and Anastasia definitely have something in common, their smile. If the four sisters were grouped in two groups according to their similarities, Tatiana and Anastasia would surely be in the same group. Their eyes are very similar, and their resemblance to Tarina Alexandra and Maria Alexandrovna is amazing!
Happy Birthday to Grand Duchess Tatiana Nikolaevna
