BELIEVE ~ HE PROMISED The darkness will be broken by the Light of God! He has a plan and it works. God, who is all LOVE, promised to send a way back to Him and our heavenly home. GRACE ~ At my so called “mature” age, one would think one would know better by now. Being honest, that’s not always a truth. Problems come, dark clouds cast long shadows and fears attempt to rob our joy. It is when I see the Glory of my LORD, that I’m reminded of just how far HE has brought me. Carrying me over mountain tops, parched deserts, flooded canyons and so much more. Yes, we all need reminders of GOD’s EVERLASTING GRACE! UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! GOD is the promise maker! GOD is the promise keeper! HE CHANGES NOT! HE loved us yesterday! HE loves us today! HE will love us tomorrow! GOD IS LOVE ❤️! If it is not LOVE ❤️ it is not GOD!

EYE of GOD We all have highs and lows as we travel life’s journey. Rough and smooth roads. At our lowest is when we need to remember that God has us always within His eyeshot. God is the promise maker. God is the promise keeper! He promised to be with us always through all things. Hold on, we are about to reach a smooth path!

7 December Least we forget the greatest generation and the deeds of valor paid in the high cost of the blood shed by those who gave their all to insure the freedoms we hold so dear. Let us not be willing to surrender anyone of these freedoms today because of fear and hate. Power “If you can’t say something nice then maybe you should say nothing at all.” I’m not really sure who to contribute this saying too, for I believe that in every culture and language there is a very similar saying. I know I personally learned it at the knees of my mother and grandmother. As I grew into a form of “adulthood” it’s meaning was driven home more then I’d care to remember. With me often the subject of some negative and hurtful words. Bruises fade. Bones heal. But it takes a lot of time to heal a heart broken down by negative talk. The power we have to bestow curses and blessings is very real. God is not asking us to lie about a situation or to only speak flattery. If someone is heading towards a cliff, it is very much our duty to warn of impending danger. But He asks that we do so with love. “Think twice before we speak.” God is the promise maker! Seeking the Light Happy, fruitful, blessed Advent! Let us make this great journey of faith into a deeper relationship with our Lord. He has supplied all our need to reach out to Him. He waits to welcome us home. This Advent let’s join together and walk boldly to the Holy Throne. God is the promise maker! God is the promise keeper! He has made the perfect plan. It’s not how we look to God, He always sees us as His children and like the father of the Parodical Child, waites patiently for our folly to end and with arms at the ready to embrace and enfold us in His healing grace and everlasting love. So often I feel a paranoia that everyone is out to get me! That the entire world is set on my undoing! Have you ever felt like that too? When these dark thoughts attempt to steal my joy I remind myself that Satan does not come after his own. Maybe, just maybe I am doing something right and that devil is angry 😡.
