12 years of fnaf and 2 years of this blog. Honestly it's pretty surprising for both
This hasn't been fnaf's busiest or "best" year by any means, but we still got some fun stuff. Several teasers have been released for fanverse games after all, there's the Halloween Horror Night from late 2025, an actual animatronic being sold for halloween this year, and the second movie came out. Similarly, while I've stopped doing daily posts, the blog certainly isn't inactive and I still speak up about new variants whenever I hear about them
But speaking of news, I figured I'd do something a little different and report on something besides the gimmick for this series. Cus while I'm sure a chunk of y'all have already heard about what I'm going to share, I do still want to post about it
For starters, Steel Wool posted a "guess the character" today, with it being Vanny. So what, that's minor, ya? Except, for just a second, there was something different
You can see a two in her eyes. We're getting a sequel to Security Breach, with a hopefully stronger focus on Vanny this time. Hopefully the first game taught them a lesson about hyping up her involvement, but we were informed beforehand that more would likely be done with her, so I'm cautiously optimistic
But speaking of that type of almost-promise, I knew it
Always bet on Fnaf World 2, baby. This time it's being developed by Mega Cat Studios, the same people who made the Into The Pit game. While I haven't seen much of it myself, I have heard some pretty good things about it and the visuals look rather nice. I have a soft spot for Fnaf World, so this is a rather nice announcement
Whether or not either of these entries bring more variants to the table is- well I'd say "it's hard to say", but this is fnaf we're talking about. If I don't get more characters to cover, I'll be shocked
