The meaning of context and style in comics. The one and only Peanuts by Charles M Schulz and then Batman with knowing homage by Len Wein and Walter Simonson.
This is the best thing I have ever seen.
Agreed
This put a huge smile on my face!

Anyone in Atlanta tomorrow should go to this show!
ATL 2k16.
side walk etching of the nostalgic S. i remember being taught how to draw these when i was younger by my older brother and it felt like i was shown a secret passage. i hope these S’ never go away and are handed down from generation--seeing one brings back the best case of nostalgia.
who came up with Kilroy? i know it was a moniker created in one of the world wars, but i wish i knew more of its origins: who, what, where and why. bill daniels got this one?
going postal...gone postal...
1/2 dead is one of my favorite crews in atlanta. their idiosyncratic use of tags bring a refreshing aesthetic to graffiti (the tombstone with 1/2 in it is another great example). not everyone gets it--seeing this one the ground draws so much confusion to the average pedestrian, and catches your eye to any graffiti fan, but is simple.
comic and one color print made for mail orders. sketchbook doodle journal’d the week of the elections. i don’t think the world has gone mad--i’m sure every generation has thought the world has gone mad or is coming to an end (whether it was tradesmen during the industrial revolution, almost everyone around the great depression, being jewish in europe or oriental in america during WWII, having an outspoken leftists perspective during the cold war, so on and so forth)--but it’s fucked up to begin with, just watch any adam curtis documentary.
halloween 2k16....country bumpkin dog. was suppose to be a bear, but had to use a stuffed animal dog for the hood due to procrastinating. credit to suzie cream cheese for doing all the sewing and measuring.
made xmas cards this year that didn’t really see the light of day. printed about 20 of them, handed out probably around 10...but it was worth it. came out much better than expected--using only three screens i was able to create 4 colors by having red and green over lapping one another to create brown in the reindeer.
Hey! Gig poster--three screens, four colors. Complimentary. Colors.
Hey! Come to Muddle’s first show with Lumpy and the Dumpers and Nurse on October 18th!
FFFOOOOOODDDDDDD!
STARTED A STOREENVY WITH WITH A SHIRT AND ZINE DISTRO. THIS ONE IS UP NOW, MORE WILL BE UP THIS WEEKEND.

John Heartfield (1891-1968), aka Helmut Herzfelde, was a Berlin Dadaists. Serving in the German Military from 1914-1916, Heartfield left the battle field with a blatant destructive mindset for any national patriotism. He co founded the Berlin Dada group in 1919 to set fire to the current political scenario in Germany--the Weimer Republic and the growing Nazi party. Dada inspired him to create his art using strong political outlooks with revolutionary themes “to defame a society gone insane.” “..Heartfield used the harsh disjunctions of photomontage as a potent propaganda weapon and introduced innovations in the preparations of mechanical art for offset printing.” He fled to Prague in 1933 after storm troopers occupied his apartment for several days. While there, he still made his presence known and would crop his posters to the size of post cards and mail them to Nazi leaders and elite. It was only a matter of time before his actions got him into deep shit and in 38′ he had to flee to England after he found out he was on a “secret Nazi lists of enemies”. In 1950 he moved to Leipzig, East Germany, where he spent the remaining part of his life creating set designs, posters and more photo montages protesting the Vietnam war.

Here’s the only peek may one get of some bitter, old cynics perspective of the world. Three color screen print, 1 pg. per panel with 11 pages.

Uhh Ohh!!! Watched Wes Cravens New Nightmare last night and feeling compelled to upload more stuff to here. This is out of my new zine Panting Dog! Not available because it was only 20 something pressings. But I will upload most of it to here.
