Beautiful 1908 Craftsman in Hood River, OR, but I'm on the fence with the kitchen remodel. 4bd, 5ba, 5,515sqft, $1.795m.
Lovely big living room, wainscoting, beams, built-in bench, leaded glass windows, and a chunky stone fireplace. The floor is new, but I think it's a little too light.
The dining room has a lovely built-in cupboard.
The powder room was redone. The cabinet is original, but if you don't like the dark wood, don't buy a Craftsman. The wood in here is nice, but it doesn't look authentic.
The family room was also restored with lighter wood.
The kitchen reno was given a variety of different colored woods. The floor and backsplash are good, and the antique-repro stove, but the cabinetry looks so modern.
This must be a laundry room. Look at the lockers. The floor is original.
The stairs in this back room go up to a small bedroom.
And, a shower room. It must be meant for a guest or lodger.
The other bedrooms are up here.
There's a nice bath. Actually, I think that the white tile looks better than unmatched wood.
This bedroom is a good size and also has a walk-in closet.
The 2nd bedroom has access to the terrace.
And, this large room has built-in shelving and an ensuite.
Looks like a finished attic room.
Plus a finished basement.
Brand new guest cottage powered by its own solar panels.
And, this must be a bathroom with an outdoor shower.
