Hey guys, I’ve been stuck in pokemon sun and moon hell for the past few days…I’m still in it by the way. Anyway sorry for not responding, I actually just got a new tablet and pen finally! I’ve been using a broken pen even before the Pokemon comics and i am finally released from that horrible broken pen.
Here is Nanu from Pokemon Sun and Moon. I really like this guy and he’s a dark trainer. I like the way he smile and basically said he’ll collect your corpse to an 11 year old child.
Battle style: As a general rule, Nanu prefers to not train his Pokemon for maximum damage potential, but to be skilled in guile and tricky techniques, as might befit a Dark-type expert. To put it another way, he’d rather use Honchkrow over Incineroar; Zoroark, not Tyranitar. Since most of them had been with him since his time in Interpol, they tend to understand his style, and are well-equipped to handling other tasks (Sableye hanging out in shadows for a stakeout, for example, or using Krookodile and Houndoom to do heavy lifting). Additionally, if challenged, Nanu prefers to battle in the Doubles format, but since it’s not too common in Alola, he’ll default to Singles. ‘Mon list under the cut.
Sableye
A tricky Pokemon, that Nanu has trained for anti-physical capabilities. Unwilling to put his Pokemon through the rigors of Mega-Evolution, regular old Prankster Sableye works just fine. Recover / Knock Off / Will-o-Wisp / Taunt @ Leftovers
Persian-A
The other tricky half of his team. When asked to battle as Kahuna, he’ll tap Sableye and Persian, but rarely at the same time, along with Absol.
Snarl / Fake Out / Parting Shot / Quash @ Darkinium-Z
Did I mention Nanu was mostly trained in Doubles? :3c
Krookodile
An old partner from Unova. Krookodile, along with Persian, tend to make up the lead Pokemon in Nanu’s set. The croc’s imposing presence makes for an intimidating foe.

Houndoom
Yes, he’s a Meowth guy, but there’s nothing wrong with seeing how the other half lives. Houndoom serves as an end-game win condition. Once there’s nothing to stop it from using Nasty Plot, nothing short of priority moves or 4x resistance can stop it.

Guzzlord
Boy, he’s not happy about using this thing, but dammit, he has to face himself, even if it’s not through traditionally healthy methods. His normal strategy is to lead off with Draco Meteor before switching to Guzzlord’s just-as-threatening physical payload.

A stinky, huggy friend.
