Hi! to this day this is still my most followed social media, and I was a 15 year old posting SU fanart. I am now in my third year of college btw. Fun times.

Well that was a nice ending.

Thanks to Steven Universe for being such an awesome show that got me into Digital Art and made a permanant positive impact on my life.

I’ll miss the excitement of waiting for the next episode to come out and for the plot to develop and the surprise of seeing a new fusion.

What an amazing show with an amazing concept and execution, super brave of Rebecca Sugar to make a kids show with so many progressive and important topics that also runs in a continuous story arc.

This show definitely shaped my adolescence and contributed to what will become my future.

I find it quite funny how I ended up using some of my art as character design examples for a portfolio to get into college.

crazy how the su fandom just kinda.. came back to life after the new episodes.

I’m lowkey gonna miss older steven when the new season starts.

Perhaps they’ll have an episode where he finally grows because he’s accomplished so much and feels older.

is anyone gonna make a comic of rose coming back for spinel after the war and them having a happy reunion and rose apologizes for leaving her for so long and explains to spinel what happened and tells her that she can be whatever she wants to be now and they both hug or do I just have to imagine it myself.

“Here in the Garden” is so good but so friggen sad. Spinel is an example of Pink Diamond’s power to force gems to follow her orders put to the extreme. She told Spinel to stay put, and so she did. For 6000 years. Rose/Pink Diamond is such a complex and layered character that I can’t get my head around it.

Idk I haven’t been drawing lately mostly because the hiatus kinda extinguished my obsession for the show and it seems that I drew all my inspiration from the show in general - I don’t really have any original ideas that I have the time to flesh out in any way.

I have also found a lot of new hobbies in Nintendo games, a new interest in competitive Smash Bros, and I’m entering my senior year of HS.

I’m gonna keep following the show and possibly make a second account for other non-SU art If I ever get back into drawing.
