... AND THIS PIECE TOOK ME SIXTEEN HOURS!!! This version was supposed to be the final image, but the water was too distracting and bright for the drama I was ultimately aiming for. I would use this version if it were a physical poster, most likely, though

And, for fun, here's the original draft of this I started on January 4... I didn't have a clear idea where I was going except for the initial idea of this dramatic pose, when usually, I have a very clear idea in mind and I just need to put it to paper... I suppose it was partially because this had more of a background than usual, and those are the last thing I think of most of the time. Also it was ~cluttered~ and ~too abstract~ and the imagery of Connie on Obsidian's hand was far stronger anyway. And also I meant to add the crying because this is the singing while crying show but 1. I forgot 2. I had a really specific pissed off expression in mind 3. I forgot 4.
