⚒️ In October on Stara Planina, you realize how vast time is - and how small we are. And how perfect a fossil can be. 🍂

In this short field video, the focus is on close-up shots of extracting fossils from the rock. It’s that moment when a specimen “opens” from the matrix and reveals details that have been locked inside for millions of years. 🐚

Featured in the footage are brachiopod fossils, with clearly preserved ribbed ornamentation and fine shell details.
