We all have bad days. We all have our down days and they usually make us forget that not too long ago there was a great day. . It can be so upsetting to hit these points and not know what to do or say to try and get yourself out of it, that slump. At its worst, it feels like i've fell in a bath of treacle and i'm slowly sinking and yet it's so strong and everywhere that i can't lift my arms to get out. . Talk to someone, tell them how you're feeling and get some of them emotions out in the open. . I'm in the need of the gym today but I also need to take a day to recover my legs. It's hard when it gives a medium to work out some of the emotions and a space to block yourself. . So today I put my people face on and get on with it, I'll face the customers and be polite.

Reset

I have been taking this time to mentally reset. The last 18 months have been the cruelest that life has played me and yet i'm now taking this time to appreciate. I'm resetting my relationship to a point where i will feel comfortable to re-enter. At first it seemed like the hardest decision i would make but i know now it was very much needed. I'm seeing more clearly the struggles i faced on a daily basis and i'm clearing them one at a time. I am readying myself for what will come next. Like a book finished i pick up the next, it's not the same book but it will be better.

So today I hit new highs. New Personal Best of 227.6kg on the leg press. Here is me doing 217.6kg. Yes I am praying for a good set because I always manage to fuck up when there is a camera nearby. 😉💪 (at PureGym Liverpool Central)

A letter to...

Do you ever feel like the mask has officially started to slip off your face and no matter how much glue it isn't going to go back on for a while? That's how i feel.

The mask is too heavy to hold up to my face and the cracks are showing.

I don't know how to put it on again or how to fix this.

I am having a constant inner monologue of all my fears and doubts coming to life and i just need answers. How long? Is there someone else? Is there any way? Is it because?

Others want to carry the mask, expose me to emotions. At this moment they're dangerous and make me want to hurt. I have them stupid moments of sheer ( I don't even know what the word is) but they're the ones that make me question everything that I have go on then I talk to you question why I'm still here? I'm not ready to face them demons, but they're lurking, ever present.

So today has been a long day already. But i got some things to help me on my way. A Tape measure because for the last while I have felt that I still LOOK the same or I can't notice it (perhaps all them mirrors 😂) so this is so I can track any little changes. I also got the little note pad so i can keep my recordings/musings (so obviously I NEED the coloured pens). Also, is it bad that I am thinking of having a walk back down to the gym later for an arm session. Not done that this week. 🤔

So i'm feeling a million things. I'm annoyed because i walked out of the second class within a minute of it started. I feel defeated because i let stupid things bother me, because my brain says "hey all these people are looking at you. Hey, all these mirrors" and i let it. There are other things as well.
