“Then fuck cupcakes,” she exclaimed, a little louder than necessary. “Yeah, that sounds good. Count me in,” Gemma nodded, her voice back to a normal tone.

“I know you are,” he admitted with a slow nod. “I’m not angry with you, okay? Im just.. angry,” Rhett admitted with a sigh.

“Trust me, I know that feeling,” she said with a weak chuckle. Gemma was well acquainted with the anger that came with heartbreak. “Is there anything I can do? I have some good weed if you want that, or I could bake cupcakes. Food and drugs are kind of my go to when I’m angry, or upset.”

“Well obviously don’t do it while you’re on call or at work, Jesus that would just be idiotic. But any other time I see no issue with getting getting that electric lettuce.”

Rhett let a frustrated sigh escape as she began walking away. He debated on juts leaving, but did a quick run after her, grabbing her arm as he caught. “I’m sorry, alright?”

Spinning around when he grabbed her, Gemma let out a sigh and pushed her hair back. “It’s fine,” she said, shrugging. “Look, I get it, you’ve got shit going on. I’m just trying to help.”
