"Tara didn’t rat, Gemma."
//sorry I've been away for ever, but this last part of the semester was crazy! it's over now, so let me know if you'd like to RP (:
//still so goddamn sad about Clay's death ugh.
//sorry, my muse is too sad to function, and so is her mun. we're devastated over last night's episode, but she won't admit it.
It's Been Awhile (tiggerdontchangestripes)
Shit had been rolling south for a long time. But when it rained, it hailed, and Gemma was living proof of that fact. As if the club didn’t have enough on their plate, Jax had finally sat everyone down and told them what went down with his family. Tig had never been too partial to Tara either way—his loyalty to Gemma often kept him in Gemma’s corner, but Tara was alright on her own. If you ignored that hint of crazy that Tig could practically smell on her—he had a good nose for the crazy ones, they were always the first he took to bed.
Old ladies. Nothing but trouble, if you asked him. Still, it only felt right that he visit Gemma. Sure, she had Nero to take care of her now, but…some old tug told him to check up on her anyway. Bad habits, maybe. He opened the door and she greeted him warmly, at least. “Hey,” he murmured back, accepting the hug and pressing a small familial kiss to the side of her face. “Everything’s fine, yeah,” he added, because it was better to play it safe than open up a can of rotten worms. He knit his eyebrows, and said, pointedly, “How you holding up?”
Gemma nodded at his answer. She knew everything wasn't okay, and it wouldn't be for a long time. Not after everything that happened. Not after all the club had been through. After all she and the club had been through.
"I'm... okay," she lied, as she had to everyone else. She didn't want anyone seein' her vulnerable side. She hated that. But she knew there were a few members of the club that could see right through her. "You, uh, you sure you're alright after everything that went down?" she almost whispered. She had a feeling she knew the answer, but God damnit, she wanted someone to tell her the truth.
WHY WOULD YOU WANT CLAY DEAD? THAT'S THE DICKIEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE UGH.
Second Thoughts (exjunkiecroweater)
Balled up in the chair next to the window, Wendy had spent most of the day say there in the same position. Her legs were screaming but she ignored it all. She didn’t have it in her today to care about much at all. It was the voice that broke her concentration, not a nurses voice, a familiar one. She’d prepared herself for this, Gemma might have been nice enough to cart her off to rehab but then she’d been ‘nice’ enough to call an ambulance as well.
Now came the ‘unfit mother’ speech and maybe even a second attempt at getting her to over dose on whatever the former Queen could get her hands on. She loved Gemma, she really did. The elder woman had been the closest thing that she’d had to a mother since the passing of her own. Just another disappointed face to add to the list at the end of the day.
Turning her head to face the woman, a halfhearted smile made an attempt to pull at her lips but didn’t quite make it to that point at the sight of the flowers. “I don’t really have anywhere to put them” she mused, voice quiet and broken. The second question drawing a hoarse laugh from her; “Y’know like I’ve just won the lottery.” The scub pants that she was wearing scratched a long the chair as she moved to face Gemma more head on.
"Are you here to tell me that I failed your ‘good mommy’ test?"
"Just so happens the nurse is bringin' down a vase to put them in," Gemma told the woman gently, touching her hair. She and Wendy had been through a lot, but this was the first time Gemma had seen the poor woman this broken.
She ignored her comment about winning the lottery, but she didn't ignore the question Wendy asked her. She thought about it for a moment. Was she here for that reason? Or was she here to tell her to get well and win Jax back. Neither, really, although she desperately wanted Tara outta Jax's life for good. She carefully looked at Wendy, before answering.
"No, baby, I'm here to tell you that Abel's been asking for you. So you need to get better real soon to come and see him..." Gemma explained softly. So what if Abel had been referring to Tara when he asked, "where's Mommy?" It didn't matter. It mattered now that Gemma made a connection with Wendy to try and get her focused on making her way outta here.
"They, uh... they treatin' you okay in here?"
Second Thoughts (exjunkiecroweater)
Gemma always thought that Wendy would become Jax's wife again one day, even after her multiple overdoses, her trips to rehab, all of it. Gemma always liked Wendy better than Tara. It didn't matter what Wendy did, Gemma always found it in her heart to forgive Wendy.
"I'm here to see Wendy Case," Gemma told the receptionist who lead her back to Wendy's room minutes later. She looked around the place, and it seemed nice enough, but Gemma wouldn't want to be there alone. She followed the woman promptly and finally reached the room where she stopped. "Thanks," she said, parting from the receptionist, and looking in on the younger woman.
"Hey... brought 'cha somethin'," Gemma smiled at Wendy, handing her a bouquet of flowers. "How're you doin', sweetheart?"
It's Been Awhile (tiggerdontchangestripes)
Gemma was hanging around the club house for the first time in what seemed like forever. So much shit had been going down in the past couple of weeks. Jax finally believed her about what happened with Tara, and when he forgave her, she took a couple of days to herself and then headed down to see everyone later that week.
She heard the door open and turned around to see her long time pal Tig, and she flashed him a smile. "Hey baby," she said, walking over to give him a hug. "How've you been?"

Kala gave Gemma a smile as she moved around to the front of her and almost straddled her lap, putting her arms on her shoulder. “I normally don’t do something like this but I thought it would be fun and a little different.” she said as she gave a seductive sway of her hips as she touched her friends face. “If this is uncomfortable for you just let me know.” she told her.
"Not uncomfortable at all," Gemma said with a smile. She watched as Kala really got into her movement, and Gemma's eyes were fixated on her curves. She loved looking at her, even fully dressed.
"Actually, it's pretty hot."
