With the strangeness of Oakhurst & the curse that lies within, Pearl & Cleo will sometimes have to deal with more than just sleeping vampires that go bump in the night as the Guardians of Oakhurst. Sometimes it's a full blooded werewolf, other times a group of vampire hunters that's way in over their head. Sometimes, it's a supernatural hybrid that's a bit more precarious to put down.

One such crypid was one that was half human, half sculk. It has orange hair much like how Cleo's hair used to be, tattered dark clothing with a tarnished pendant near where the heart should be, and sculk like tendrils that formed peculiarly complex looking horns on the head. The head also has vine growths on it that sports flowers that have lost all of their pedals & sculk growth that turned one of the red eyes sculk green. It has excellent sense of hearing & packs a mean left hook, but poor eyesight.

It sees the visage of the lady in red... the stark white figure next to her & it shrieks, temporarily defeaning the pair for a few moments before lunging at them, attacking with a ferocity that is only matched by Ren when he made his "what it means to be human" speech.

It takes the combined effort of Pearl's Wolf form & Cleo's lvl 3 vampirism + the distraction noise from the bats that appear when Cleo transforms to put down the hybrid monster; the mangled corpse soiling the ground with sculk, and vines growing on the silver sword thrust through the torso.

But seriously this is so good I kinda wanna write this as a fic, I would DEFINITELY read this, you're a genius and now I want a full multi chapter fic about all the apocalypse worthy threats Pearl and Cleo have to deal with every two centuries

they love to show off their finished builds to each other!!!!!!!

The builder grabs the ofher two both by the hands and tell them to close their eyes. then they stop in front of the build and when they finally open their eyes, they just awe and gawk and ask all about the details and compliment the colors and design and all the effort and work put into it.

When it’s Pearl’s build, she’s always rejecting the compliments but showing around the build anyways because she doesn’t want to seem selfish even when she makes impressive stuff.

Cleo is always talking about the stories and characters tied to the build and showing how she made the armor stands and who helped them with the design and material gathering.

Gem shows them around and talks about what inspired her and how she chose the colors, along with any lore that comes with the build, hiding a few secrets along the way for mystery.

GemPearl would wrestle and brawl and have crazy wild duals with lots of energy! like play fighting! not meant to be malicious or anything.

and Cleo sits off to the side watching and cheering them on. “Fight! Fight! Get her hair! Bite! Claw her eyes out!” They don’t participate, mainly because her stitches would rip so fast if she did.

Gem helps bring Pearl her pain meds and snacks and heats up her heating pad when her period comes and hurts like hell(endometriosis). Cleo takes care of Gem when her antlers are shedding painfully. Pearl cooks Cleo dinner when they’re too tired to do it themself and haven’t eat all day. Cleo keeps Pearl from overworking herself and makes her finally rest. Gem keeps Cleo company when her EDS and POTS flare up and she can’t get out of bed. Pearl cuddles Gem for hours when her back is hurting from scoliosis. Gem helps stitch Cleo back together when they fall apart once again. Cleo is there to hold Pearl when she is soso lost and scared and guilty. Pearl and Gem makes bracelets for eachother and Cleo when they are having a flare uo and need a little gift from her lovers to cheer them up. They all brush each others’ hair and do their nails over gossip at their little weekly sleepovers so they can all feel pretty and cared for. They all know each others’ favorite snacks and meals, warm and cold, so during any season, if someone needs a good meal, their lovers can make their favorite.

When Pearl decided to become a firefighter and enchanted her armour with fire protection, she saw that she never took damage from lava and decided to freak out the other Hermits as a prank.

At first it was just a show, walk into lava, showing them it was fine.

But there was one time when Gem and Cleo fell into lava working on the Nether hub and she just jumped into the lava to grab their things, forgetting that she didn’t tell them that she'd be fine.

Pearl was scolded by them for a full day even after getting their things back.
