I want to make an animatic in Krita, wich I have never used before. So of course I started getting familiar with the programm by sketching Violo.

The animatic would be Violo's life before Pario... but who knows how far I will come in making it.

This is my 10th attempt at drawing a specific Violo sprite in my style. This is not what I intended. Not sure how it happend but glad I made it. I think I'll give up on trying and just continue to vibe :3

My sharper-than-I'm-used-to pencil fought me and I still don't know how to color but it was fun to do traditional art again.

Originally I wanted to draw another Violo sprite (in my style) but I wanted to practice the hair - which turned into a full drawing.

headcanon: good end Voidlight reader loses their voice (temporarily)

it happened because you got sick, because you talked too much about your adventures, or because you had that random urge to sing a whole bard's song arsenal with no regards to the consequences

if it can be healed? Then you no longer have a sore throat as soon as one of them notices or you mention it

if it can't be healed for some reason… (aka the sake of this headcanon since my tired brain likes to ignore canon logic)

you sit behind Vivere, brushing his hair and braiding it because you just returned home and want to spend some time with both of your darlings

Violo is half lying on the bed, half on Vivere's lap, listening to you retell the adventure he accompanied you on to the darling who had only heared exaggerated tidbits from another Violo puppet

you're already croaking a competition with treebark and it gets worse with each sentence

in the middle of your tale your voice is smooth as sandpaper as in all that escapes your lips is squeaks, groans, whispers, and perhaps a few words that die after three letters

the listeners don't particularly mind you trying and failing to continue and while it's amusing, they don't like you pushing yourself for no reason

Vivere assures you it's okay if you tell the rest of the story later, you do have eternity

Violo jumps in to continue where your throat left, pouting because Vivere doesn't want to hear it from him again but from you

it gets annoying real fast that you can't participate in a conversation

they do their best to interpret whatever does leave your mouth as well as body language and perhaps magic

Violo might not see but either wind elementals tell him what you do or he'll have to hold you so he can feel your movements (he will find an excuse to do the latter)

at some pitiful point, they tell you to shut up and rest

Vivere reminds you to stop but in the end gives in

if it means you stay longer before going out again she can put up with some stubborness - if you promise to rest soon

Violo talks over you if you don't stop pushing your voice, giving you no room to exhaust it any further - but he doesn't just yap, he puts words in your mouth and waits for you to confirm or deny without using your nonexistent voice

they go out of their way to include you in conversations in ways that don't require your voice

asking for an opinion you can point at to get across (even if it's something they would know regardless, like favorite food)

looking at you while talking

and reacting to whatever they know you would have said

they wanna hear your voice again so you better get it back quickly

It's been bugging me for a while that I don't post everything I want to post. So far I only posted Monstrous Madness fanart and then I got scared of posting anything else.

I don't want to be controlled by -what I assume to be- social anxiety so I will post this post and other stuff.

That includes:

- older fanart from before I joined tumblr that I displayed on ao3 instead. I wanted to take it off of ao3 for a while because I want ao3 to be for my beloved fanfiction only. The fanart is half of my total hits. Well, I want the data for my fanFICS only, please.

- random thoughts. I've been using the wall on my empty wattpad account so far...  THIS should be the place I do that. Posting random thoughts how ever, how many, and when ever I want.

- reposting posts I want to repost. As simple as that. I can do that.

IMPORTANT REMINDER TO MYSELF:

you better post this and KEEP IT UP. screw social anxiety. do whatever you want- no one minds (if they do that's their problem). follower count does not matter. it does not matter why you think someone follows you (you don't post to people please). do whatever YOU please. you know it is completely within what you are allowed to do.

And to make it worse for myself, I don't cut this in any way and post it without preparing anything. Oh the horror.....
